Armybuilders are *supposed* to look uniform; so much so it's literally what they wear. Nobody suffers the exact same damage as another person, even with the excuse that they were standing in formation. And I recall similar complaints about the 30A Zombie, except that he came with swappable parts enabling some level of individuation.

Unless it's Star Wars clonetroopers, we already accept a level of unrealistic uniformity--height, body shape, etc.

And the intent of a military uniform is to minimize those differences to insignificance. It's a statistical impossibility to siffer the exact same damage as another. 'Battle damage' individuates what's supposed to be anonymous, not be another layer of anonymity.

You know what else is statistically impossible---Toxo-Zombies. Just sayin', it's all fictional.

I agree 100%......no terrorist organization would ever dress their soldiers in those colors.

Unless they don't care what people say and are complete outlaws.

They are a terrorist organization. Who's gonna stop them, the Fashion Police? LOL

On a different note, this con set reveal has been so dragged out I have completely lost interest in the whole thing.

Worst case of mange I've ever seen in my life...

You know, I don't like pit bulls to begin with, but this thing -- SHEEESH!

I love the caption that goes with it --

"REPULSOR is the director of security at Cobra Industries and keeps
the TOXO-VIPERS in line with the help of his K-9 counterpart!"

Uh, yeah, I think if I was a Toxo-Viper, this critter is the last thing I'd want on my bad side. I mean, it's a zombie dog -- and not a small one. I worry about NON-zombie dogs wanting to take a piece out of me. THIS one?

Yes, sir, Mr. Repulsor, sir, whatever you say, sir, hope that leash is a strong one, sir...

In related news, they've also shown us the unmasked Clean Sweep head.

Yet another example of my over-enthusiastic love of the dog as a species: I'll be trying to trade this little fellow, and if there aren't any takers, I'll be throwing him away. It would bum me out to see an undead dog every time I looked in the fodder bin where he would inevitably end up. Zombie humans? No problem. Zombie dog? Sad. You figure it out; I can't.

I will gladly take Dawn off of your hands if you do not want him :)

I'm right there with you. If you can't sell ME on a box set of zombies vs. GI Joe, you're doing something wrong. It's not a horrible set, but I think the zombies aren't good enough to appeal to zombie fans, but are too billed too prominently to make the set appealing to non-zombie fans. I know a lot of people have Z-fatigue, and this set probably won't help that.

Still, it's made me feel better about not biting the bullet on this and other Club offerings. For the price, I'll be far happier with my own creations.

Terry Wheeler, staff member of the clubs likeness. Sculpt looks ok. It sort of looks like the old sculpt so I guess that's part of why they went with it.

Good heavens, you're right. I knew I'd seen that face before, but I couldn't entirely place it (which will tell you how long it's been since I've been to a Convention). That IS Terry Wheeler. And a superb likeness of him.

And while he's not a relation of mine, he's a great guy and a great member of the G.I. Joe community, and I certainly regard him as a friend. We first met at one of the earliest (pre-Club) G.I. Joe Conventions in the early 1990's when there was some confusion at the registration desk over our names --
