Random little project I started last night.... I don't know what the end vehicle will be...but just wanted to do something fun and simple.

At this point It really just needs some fine tuning along the seem in the Top of the shell... and then I have to figure out what kind of paint scheme to give it...

Or it will go sit on a shelf till I need to steal the Wiper and Steering wheels to complete a SnowCat.

I would like for you to describe to the audience what part of this custom is 'simple' ?

I like it. Make it a moon landing vehicle.

It's 4 simple cuts... The only way to make this any easier would be to have a band-saw to make the cuts.... Then I wouldn't have had to use a bit of styrene to patch the seam.

Also the concept is very simple... Take two identical vehicles, cut them in half... Glue them back together ass to ass... Very simple idea. B

Sci Fi vehicle. Starcom if you want, or something else space worthy. That looks like a joe moon rover if I've ever seen one.

You need to paint this in Cobra blue, with red and silver highlights.

On the right front corner put a missile launcher and on the right back corner put a matching launcher.

You know have a Tomax/Xamot vehicle...

The launchers would match the \ and / or their sashes and shoulder armor.

Very nice work and from first look it reminds me of some kind of moon landing/exploring vehicle.

I'll echo the space vehicle suggestions. Maybe throw a big satellite dish on the top or use a spring loaded launcher to make a telescope. Just a few little bits and bobs, some Star Brigade stickers and you're done.

Not what I was expecting from a double cab.

I'm a little curious what expectations you'd have from the term "Double Cab"

I appreciate all the feedback...I think I agree that this does really have a Moon-lander/ Space Rover kind of feel to it.

My expectations was a 4 seater with 4 front wheels. I have often thought of doing one my self. Possibly wheels in wheels in back making it an 8 wheeler.

I honestly thought it might be a Snowcat that seated four. (the cartoon version was like that right?)
