sssssscooby house!

this will be one of the sets for my project. i was talking about buying a broken waynes manor when my wife told me that my stepdaughters old doll house was in a pile of debris out back, lucky me! not sure what it started life as(pink and white plastic), but before she chunked it my stepdaughter painted it almost all black, tweenage angst!

agreed. this looks like it will be real fun indeed.

I did move this into the dio section for you though. Since you're putting time and effort into this bad boy, I think you should get to show it off in an area where you can take credit for the work you are doing!

Nice. Those figures are pretty fun for what they are too. I got them for my daughter but we both use them about as much. She uses them with her Fisher Price houses too.

That house looks great. The paint manages to be both subdued and garish and looks like it's right out of the old cartoon. Nice work so far!

thanks DOTD!

turning out to be harder than i could of imagined to get some good stop action shots. a $8 tripod and my old beater camera are a real struggle. hopefully i'll get something figured out this week.

i dug into the parts bin ,plus the antique toybax lot ,and got a few acessories that work with scale. i also played with some comic style pics!

let me know if you guys can watch this, and what you think!

i think it's choppy and needs a better background, but i've watched it 27 times :)

i may create another set and add to this footage for an "original" version of this song. there are a ton of covers on youtube, some that are :rotfl:

I dig it man. Very creative. The shot with the gang running out of the building - you pulled that off really well. If that's your first attempt at stop-motion, I'm duly impressed. The imagery was suitably creepy (hey I almost called it on the ransom note lettering!). Would be fun to watch while in the Halloween frame of mind.

I'm also curious to see what other stop motion you try, especially with more articulated figures.

Wasn't expecting the music video. Not super professional but that looked like it fun as all get out to do.
