You might want to sand and repaint the sleeves/gloves. Those fingerprints are not helping an otherwise outstanding custom.

That is why I am just wippin' it at the moment. The gauntlets have only just cured. I will be sanding them down tomorrow. They are still bulging out a little too much. The pack of fabric arrived today and I am picking up a new pack of inkjet cartridges tomorrow.

Finished the lance. Had to completely redo the torso to get the 'buttons' on.

Last update of the Lancer before I finish it:

Wasn't happy with the look or length of the lance, so I dug out one of my boxes of parts and found one from a Rebel Honour Guard.

Finished up the 17th/21st Lancer, so I'm moving on. Nothing so elaborate this time. L - R, Royal Hussar, Royal Military Police and Gurkha. The Gurkha was never an Action Man outfit, but more about that when I post the finished figure. The heads are sitting a little high on the Hussar and Gurkha. Going to dremel out the neck holes. There is no kukri knife in 1:18 as far as I know, so I am using the PTE version.

Okay, change of mind. I started sculpting a scabbarb for the PTE knife last night. I looked at it and thought: WTH!?! I added a little more milliput and reshaped it to produce this:

Image

Just waiting for the milliput to cure on the handle and I am going to mold and cast it. Rather happy with the way it has turned out.

Got talking to a friend on Facebook this morning and I am starting to look at non-British regiments attached to the British Army that never made it into the Action Man range. Most of what I had in mind had petitioned Palitoy to have their uniforms made. These figures are going to be in the spirit of Action Man/Action Force.

Made a mold and cast the Kukri. Glad I did. The milliput knife fell apart when I took it out of the mold. Quite happy with the result.

I may not comment each time, but I'm loving every update. I dig the subject matter, and I especially dig seeing your renewed enthusiasm.

Quick update. Ignore the Wild Bill torso. I was originally going with that, but went with the IJ Russian Soldier torso instead.

My My My haven't we been busy.

Loving these Mini Action Man's Kambei.

Nice choice on weapons for the Jeep btw. The Desert TK Blaster for Lewis gun, perfect. Just need make the ammo tin. They happily were used by SAS & LRDG (there is another for you ;) on their patrol vehicles, as Both units had to errm "Acquire" what they could back in the early 40s lol

The Lancer, rather surprised you did not go with Pleather or even cloth as the gauntlet body.
BTW you using craftycomputerpaper for the printable cloth? Love those guys with their range.
Watching this thread with keen interest.

Was impressed by the mini GI JOE range done a while back. However Awesome to see Action Man get the same loving. May even joy in and start my own Mini AM line.

Keep it up and Truly KUDOS on the Foreign Regt's too. So overlooked.

These are great, they're so different from what we usually see in customs. Looking forward to seeing where the project goes.

That it is unless the accounts hacked.
Good to see you TR1ER.

By the Way Kambei,
The Officers Cap Royal Hussar's. That just an Action Force cap with bent down sides or something else? Could do with something like this for a couple of custom British Officers.
