Actually, I think Wasp really did fall back there. She was there along with two other figures that were too haphazardly placed (and just noticeable enough) for it to have been a deliberate attempt to conceal them. Or if it was deliberate, it was a distinctly careless and rather pathetic attempt.

And man, I hope this line doesn't end up choking on its own excessive main Avenger characters. It's that sort of thing that did no favors to the 2002 Masters of the Universe line. Way too many He-Man and Skeletor, not enough of everybody else.

Admittedly, the flip side of the coin, too many not-exactly-A-list players, can be just as disastrous. I don't think it helped DC Universe Classics.

They have these at my Target now, too, so I assume they're now everywhere (we're always the last to get anything). Already picked over, though. Just two Reapers and a ton of Iron Man.

I found these tonight. No Wasps to be found.

Grabbed the only Hulk, passed on the rest.

It's the main reason they renamed the line in the first place! Yet they apparently didn't learn their lesson.

BBTS even put their Caps on Iron Men already on clearance!

Ouch.

On the other hand, if Darko only found to Reapers and a ton of Iron Man, maybe the Cap movie is at least helping sell him!

I knew Wasp's head would have issues btw, but I think it's even smaller than a DCIH female. Wth?

The Wolverine figures are at Five Below for $3 each. Not sure if this is news or if anyone even cares. But, I grabbed a Hand Ninja dude. For three bucks, he's fun and looks good on display.

I would rather get a Retaliation dark ninja for $2 more.

I also saw in their ad the Iron Man Assemblers are $2.50. That's what they should have been all along. :-P

Hahaha, so would I! But they had no Joes. I found a silver lining in the one new toy they did have. And a X-Men game for DS.

I maintain that if Assemblers had been a cheaper price from the start--they ain't worth ten bucks--the line would have done better. Because, finding them clearance and super cheap, you find out they're a fun toyline, even though I prefer better articulation.

Didn't Death's Head appear in the Transformers comics? If so, he would have some crossover appeal to Transformers fans.

I've seen the Infinite Series on pegs in Target but it was all Cap and Iron Man, both figures I already have.

He also appeared in "Doctor Who" comics as well.

Avengers wave 3 available for pre-oder.

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=1103&category=9967

Apparently the "Avengers" theme is only for new figures. The wave includes Cyclops and Omega Red figures. I'm guessing just reissues of the Jim Lee Cyclops and the Omega Red from the last wave of MU figures.
