EELs are the backbone of Cobra's naval operations. Trained to fend off sharks, pirates, and the cold of Arctic waters they also train on the various small water craft in the Cobra Naval Fleet. The Piranha is one such craft.

(This isn't much of a custom. All I did was paint a helmet and swap his gear. I need to keep it simple since the real custom is his ride)









A fast attack boat capable of quickly entering the fray, sinking the enemy, and getting out unscathed. Cobra found that the addition of Stealth technology the Piranha became feared on all Seven Seas.









Dr. Mindbender.

An unconventional take on the character I know. This is one of two versions I have planned. Mindbender will play a large role in my ATR verse and all will be explained once I've finished up his Dossier.





Barbecue.

The Joe Firefighter. An expert in all conventional and non-conventional fire fighting techniques.

Not much here except for paint. I plan on going back to make a scratch build flame thrower. Also, I'm missing the little box piece for the backpack. I need to get one to add.

Blowtorch was inspired by the awesome work of KeepItCleanCustoms (grimdizel), who was in turn inspired by the concept art Blowtorch.

These all look great! Blowtorch's color scheme is a great improvement and it's cool to see Barbecue looking like a firefighter. Dr. Mindbender looks really good too; he only suffers from a bad head sculpt. Not much you can do about that, though, just wait for next years GIJCC subscription figure I guess. I really like the parts choices and colors.

Green Blowtorch would've gotten much more playtime if he was painted like this in the 80's. Cool.

First and foremost, great set of customs all around.

EEL, sure it is simple, but it is also bery slick looking and the Piranha looks great with him piloting it.

Mindbender rocking a turtle neck and slacks? I have mixed emotions right now. I can't tell if I like it or love it. More importantly, are we going to see more of that repainted Toxo Lab?

Barbecue, I've seen people do all kinds of vatiations on this character from camoed repaints to straight realistic firefighter but this may be the first thay combined the realistic with the GI Joe next gen look. Fantastic.

Blowtorch is painted really well.

That Mindbender is awesome. That is a really flexible body and you've put it to yet another impressive use. I am a fan.

That is a mmmmmmarvelous Dr Mindbender. The only thing I would change would be the arms. I never liked those weird strappy arms. My recommendation would be arms from the 25th Ace as they work very well for simple lab coat type arms. But still, this is awesome and if you don't agree with me, that's perfectly fine. It's an awesome custom, as are all of the others.

Thanks. I did think about swapping the arms but I really wanted to use ones where I'd never have to worry about paint rub. Even with sanded joints I've found arms I've painted white always chip. I want to use this fig for a bunch of pics so I wanted him as pose-able as possible. If I find some good white arms I'll definitely swap them.

Love the firefighter use of unifrom for Bbq.

Everything looks great here, but I'm particularly impressed with Mindbender, Barbecue, and Blowtorch. The Barbecue figure is excellent: great idea for the design, and excellent execution. I'm shocked how well those parts work together, too; one of the best customs of the character I've ever seen. Did you base the Blowtorch on that unproduced alternate paint scheme for the PoC/30th one? Either way, it's a great look for him. And I've never given half a damn about Dr. Mindbender, but this is a take on the character I can get interested in! I love the lab-coat look, but the way you tied his color scheme into the figure is what really sets this guy apart. Very impressive stuff!

Wow. I wasn't sure how Mindbender would go over with people since it's so different then the original. Thank you all for the kind words. Kinda makes me worry about how the second version will go over.
