Sgcaper scored a Spin And Fly TARDIS for me in NY and Alex found me 2 Dark Elves at one of his local Ollies so it has been a pretty great day so far (despite some mechanical issues with my car door and gushing my finger while trying to fix it).

Picked up some free comics. And some other cheap ones I've been looking for. A cool Elite Flight from an older series of Halo figures at a comic shop I don't go to often. And a pair of shorts, since the pair I was wearing all day ripped. And got chocolate cake stains on it. I swear I'm not a slob.

Amanda and I hit my local shop before her dance class and we picked up a few free books including the Archaia Mouse Guard/Farscape hardcover, Atomic Robo (an annual tradition) and a couple others. I also got my weekly pulls and picked up the Batman Zero Year backissues. We also got an expansion pack for Smash UP! the game we got for free at TableTop Day in Hollywood last month.

Update on the GIJOE figures someone picked up for me.

There was Duke v18 (from the 2 pack including the 12 inch Duke), a Serpentor v4, a Sand Viper v4, and a NIght Creeper v9. $2 for all 4.

Also saw amazon had a great deal on Star Wars kindle books.

I had a day off today so I took my daughter to the local comic stores to see if they had any free comics left, but they didn't. Neither place in town! That surprised me as I have gone in after the fact and. Usually find something. I bought her a Garfield comic book instead. Then a blind bag care bear from target. I've never bought a blind bag thing before, but those are fairly inexpensive. If she likes them I might buy more.

I haven't gotten anything for myself in awhile except for a buddy that has hooked me up with some $5 joes. I've been scooping them up as much as possible for fodder and trade fodder for the future.

I just got back from Big Flats and I hit the jackpot.

Stopped at TRU and found 2 Eaglehawks at $18 each and another Night-Viper for $10. Snagged another Star Wars Podacer Pilots pack for just under $7. I now have 4x Eaglehawks w/3x Lift-Tickets. Maybe a Night Force version. Not sure what other color scheme would work. Cobra blue?

Stopped at Five Below just before closing time and all they had was a lone Budo on the peg. I grabbed a Ric Ollie figure, since he kinda looks like Agent Coulson. Grabbed 2x Wolverine Shadow Strike Ninjas and another Hogun. Looked at the Budo then looked at Hogun and wondered how the Budo parts would fit on Hogun.

Went to leave and the manager asked me if I found everything. I remarked, "I wish you had more GIJOE figures."

She looks at me and tells me they just got a case and hadn't put it out yet. She asks me if I'm interested. I enthusiastically nod my head and follow her to the back, where she walks back out with two 2 unopened cases.

I grabbed:

2x Cobra Combat Ninja 2 more and I have a squad for ZG to lead, or at least re-enact that scene from the bonus features

Also found another green suit Duke with the big launcher and orange guns at Wal-Mart on sale along with a new Deadpool poster.

What a haul, DJ. I enjoy the ninjas from the Wolverine line for display. If I was a kid, they'd be fun toys, but for the price, they at least look really nice in a display as an adult. I also didn't realize the pod racers were clearanced...I'll have to check mine while I'm out this weekend.

Yeah, they were $6.79. Some of the arms might be able to be used for other customs. I saw a nice X-Wing Fighter Pilot version of the multi-limbed alien.

I'm gonna use one of the Lift-Ticket's as Lighthorse, and then maybe head swap out to make a few more pilots/copilots.

While I'm not much of a Night Force fan for the uniform changes, I do like some of the paint apps for the vehicles. Leaning towards a NF Eaglehawk.

The wife took me out and hit a couple stores while an hour and a half away from home. She scored me a Retaliation Eaglehawk for $18 at TRU, as well as 3 Night Vipers for $9.99 each, and four Dr Dreadful Alien Slime drink mix kits for $.50 each. She also found me a Budo for $4.99 at a Tuesday Morning, and a Jinx and Blind Master at Five Below. I'm still looking for at least one Ultimate Storm Shadow, if anyone would like to trade for a Night Viper! Just let me know.

I got my 24" Stay Puft the other day.
I went with the angry version, because such a cute little bastard with such an angry face, cracks me up.
Also got my wave 2 Doctor Who figures and a few other goodies that were in my BBTS POL.
