Taking a break on a couple big projects has let me get to some others that have stagnated. The Stark corner of EXCAL being a big one.

This armor has been shown before but the open helm is new. It's an idea borrowed from Rodimus, but my own scrap work.

The suit, no tie figure is unchanged.

The one I used to call the shop version is now two different figs. One is civilian clothes only, and much more closely resembles the recent release of the figure. the other is full on prototype making and testing Tony. Added a head with the eye piece, and all are interchangeable, including onto many of my unaltered armors.

Love that prototyping Tony. All the heads look good, especially that open helmet one.

Fantastic Tony Stark`s. Need to address and throw one into my universe still (got IM in there).

Loving the options you have done.

thanks gents!

I have enough armors that I need to make a suitable dio for them soon as well. Also, after using one RDJ head on my son's updated Tony Stark figure, I have a couple left over. Any creative thoughts for their use? Iron Man or otherwise?

I've been contemplating making a "inside the helmet" heads up display Stark. Take some clear plastic and shape it to wrap around his head and use waterslide decals for the data/screens. Like the Hot Toys IM3 Mandarin Assault Stark figure.

Thanks Dusty!

MS - I need to look up how Hot Toys tackled that. I know the view you are talking about, but need to consider not only how to execute that, but also how I'd implement it, for pics and the like.

I use a more traditional Sherlock Holmes in my prequel set-up, so I don't need RDJ for that. Not sure that Kiss Kiss Bang Bang RDJ warrants a figure.

Maybe another open helm look for a different style...

Doing a scene specific look like his assault on the mandarin look from IM3 doesn't do much for me, or that might be an easy choice.

These are all grand, but the shop / prototype testing Tony really steals the shows.
Just. Plain. :awesome: .

The Hot Toys piece is basically a wrap that goes around his head and face and mounts onto the eye piece headset from the IM3 opening Mark 42 test sequence. You could probably get away with taking some figure card bubble plastic and heat shaping it to the shape you want. Then put that same blue eyepiece you have already on the head and glue the wrap to the back of his head.

You know what would be cool, but pretty scene specific... IM2 Stark Expo tuxedo Tony coming out of the Mark IV complete with suit gantry. But you probably don't have the chops to pull that off (he said, goading drbindy into doing it by insulting his skills :shifty: )

;)

Give me a scene specific screen shot and I'll decide whether or not to take your challenge...
