Oh and did you guys see that Dream designed the packaging? So if you don't support this you are killing Dream's dream. Hope you're happy.

I'm definitely gonna back it. I wish either the figures were a little cheaper or that I wasn't so cheap haha. If I had the cash, I'd throw enough at this to get one of everything, but I just can't afford that. I'm thinking of doing just the Stone Spartan, but having a Medusa to go with that sounds very tempting. I know I won't be able to get them now, but I hope the Skeleton and Stone Fist get unlocked because they are awesome.

If I had $10k you would all have a Wowboy spartan in your collections.

Has anyone done a kickstarter for a kickstarter?

These look really cool, but I have no use for Greek mythology figures. I will go out on a limb ;) and say they are going to definately get funded.

Anyone interested in going in on a set for just the regular Spartan figure? :shifty:

They're getting a lot of questions on Facebook and will be addressing them through the Kickstarter FAQ down at the bottom of the kickstarter page. Here are their questions and answers as of 3:08PM Tuesday.

[quote]FAQ
Can I get multiples of certain figures without buying the 10-pack armies?
Yes! If you purchase the $115 Wave 1 Set of Four Figures with Print and T-shirt or any tier above that, you are eligible to purchase add-ons of all of the Wave 1 figures as well as any unlocked stretch goal items and other rewards available throughout the Kickstarter in multiples. For a complete list of add-ons and their prices, please check out our Pledge Calculator.

Do I pay for the add-ons now or when the Kickstarter is over?
You can do either, but we strongly suggest that you pledge the additional funds now, as only funds received before the Kickstarter ends will be applied to our initial funding goal and stretch goals. You can use the Pledge Calculator in the link above to determine how much the items you want will cost in total. After the Kickstarter is over, you will have the opportunity to make additional purchases through Fundafull.

Also keep in mind that the first wave of Greek Mythology figures and any additional Greek mythology waves we unlock will be available at retail if the Kickstarter is fully funded.

Add-ons are only available to backer who pledge $115 and above.

What is/is not included in the "One of Everything/All-in" package?
Backers at the $500 level will receive the print, the t-shirt, and one of every single figure and two-pack available in the Kickstarter, including any unlocked in stretch goals.

The items not included in the All-In package are:
- The $60 sets of the Spartan and Coral Snake Gorgon and the Stone Spartan and Medusa
- Any of the 10 pack armies or the Complete Army Battle Pack
- The 300 Spartans
- The custom head sculpt
- Any of the resin hard copies
- The opportunity to get your likeness on a production figure.

Please note that the All-In package is available for purchase as an add-on ONLY for backers at the $1000 level or higher.

I want to purchase a specific combination of figures that you aren't offering. Can you add another reward tier with those figures?
We are not planning to add any more rewards to the Kickstarter at this time. While we realize that it is impossible to please everyone, we have worked hard to ensure that there are a variety of reward options at varying prices.

If you are interested in a very specific combination of multiple figures, your best bet is to purchase the $115 set of the four Wave 1 figures plus print and t-shirt or any higher level and purchase add-ons in the amounts you want.

Can I purchase more than one reward tier?
You can only select one Kickstarter reward, but backers at the $115 level and above can purchase add-ons. For example, you wouldn't be able to buy both the Wave 1 set and the Gorgon Army 10-pack, but you could either get the Wave 1 set and buy multiple Gorgons as add-ons or get the Gorgon Army reward and buy the four Wave 1 figures as add-ons.

Does King Leonidas have a different head sculpt than the Spartan Warrior?
Yes!

I'm sure they'll get funded. I don't want all the figures either, mainly just want medusa and pre madusa so far besides the male /female blank figures. These do look great, have to think about it a little. What do they mean available retail????

These will probably never be in a Target, or Walmart, or TRU

They *might* get into comic shops, but more than likely (and I'm guessing here) they will be self-sold and/or internet sales like BBTS, Smalljoes, Nerd Rage, etc.,

I'm pretty sure this is going to reach into the stretch goal with ease

that being said, if any of you are part of any other joe/customizing/action figure web sites or facebook groups, please spread the word! I'm looking forward to being able to order up some of those blank figure and accessory (and Skeletons!) stretch goals!

I'm honestly more interested in supporting Boss Fight and Dream than the figures they're offering, but there's no denying the potential quality of these sculpts. Hopefully the toys deliver on that promise.
