I like that bunches.

Been holding on to a spare Titanium Man with no real goal in mind. Think you just gave me one.

So after using the Minimates helmet for my Ant-Man (back on the bottom of page 10), I decided to see what other helmets Minimates might have to offer.

While I liked my Odin well enough, with his custom helmet (way back on page 6), I jumped at the chance to give him a film accurate helmet. The color matches his armor very well, so I didn't see any need to paint it. It did require a little trimming though as his hair was molded as part of the helmet. So after trimming off his hair, and hollowing the dome out a little bit, it was ready to go.
As a bonus the spear head on the Gungnir, that came with the figure, works great for the 1/18 scale figures as well. I just chopped of the tip, and put it on a flag pole from the SDCC Destro set.

As always, thanks for looking, comments and critiques are always welcomed!

Nice!

I've been regretting not snagging Odin when I saw him on clearance, but never so mmuch as right now.

Here is another rare DC custom for me.
I always liked the Azrael-Batman outfit. Not so much as an everyday kind of a Batman, but every now and then outfit. Almost like a Hulkbuster armor or something.

When I was at Toys R Us the other day, hoping to score one of the 24" 2014 Godzilla figures that TRU has been accidentally putting on the shelves early (no such luck), I happened to find a Batman figure with usable parts. It was a bit of a shock, as I didn't even know one was coming out. It is part of that really cartoony looking line, so it wasn't really usable right out of the package, but pieces of it had potential. And since it was only $7 I figured why not.

I'm not 100% sold on the boots. On the one hand I like the bulkiness of them, but I have also thought about swapping the feet for the Iron Man MK2 feet, which would also give him ankle articulation, or I have also thought about trying some SHS Silver Surfer legs which would look more accurate to the actual comic book costume.

Thanks for looking, comments and critiques always welcomed!

Nice work bashing it onto that Iron Man figure. I'd be worried about swapping the feet just because those bulky shins could make the feet look extra tiny.

Very good point. I was a bit worried about that too.
I'm still kind of looking at different legs. I wish there was a Marvel Universe figure that had legs molded in grey plastic. There is the AOA Nightcrawler, but I think his legs would be too skinny for this.

Thanks for the feedback guys! :-)

First off great looking custom. I would never have thought of the obvious choice of using and Iron Man for a base for Knightfall Batman. I'd stay with the Iron Man line and use the Suitcase armor lower legs. They would match up perfectly and you could always add detailing to the legs if you wanted.

1989 Vicki Vale

It's been a while since I posted anything, but with the DC Multiverse movie figures showing up, I decided to make a Vicki Vale to go with my Keaton Batman.
I had been sitting on some of these parts for a while, deciding exactly what to do with them.

I based her outfit on the dress she was wearing at the museum and during the chase that followed.

As always comments and critiques are welcomed, and thanks for looking!

That look is awesome! The only problem I have is that the head reminds me so much of Faith Hill that I can't see it being used as anything but -- especially blonde -

That face is not a good face. I love the custom. The paint is clean and crisp, but you might have to keep digging for another head to use.
