quick update. Not sure that I like this yet, but so far it's the best I've got. arm articulation via CoD figure.
Look-wise, the original arms I had were best (once I sculpted fur on them, as planned). but they were too thin to add real elbow articulation to.
So I picked up on Hypno's advice, but found the CoD arms too big, at least as intended. After playing around a bit and butchering more than a couple of the figures, I found that if I used forearm pieces for the shoulders, the size shrunk enough to maybe work.
The hands on those thing don't work, so I haphazardly fused some Hobbit hands onto the CoD peg (will pretty those up in a bit).
So I don't love it, but for articulation's sake, it's better than where it was.
Now, I think I'm going to try to shave down the arms to make them thinner, then lightly sculpt some fur over that.
Anyone got a better idea?
