Some original characters.

Brian "Rimfire" McCaffrey

Former Marine sniper. During his time in the Marines, he worked closely with the DEA to finally bring an end to the Central American drug cartels and drug trade. After serving eight years, he returned home to Kiowa, CO because his father had been badly injured and could no longer run the family ranch. On his way home, Brian had a run in with some not too savory characters who later sought revenge and killed Brian's family. Feeling the police weren't doing enough to go after the men who killed his family, Brina took matters into his own hands.
Image

Anne "Ice" Bennett

DEA agent and former girlfriend of Brian. After Brian begins his mission to take out the men who killed his family, his former high school sweetheart, now an agent with the DEA, joins him mostly to keep him in check.
Image

Shane "Stronghold" Dillard
Senior DEA agent, Anne's supervisor and liaison with whom Brina had worked while in the Marines. Knowing that the men who took out Brian's family were part of a drug cartel, he let Brian carry on with his personal mission, giving him intel and keeping the police off his back.
Image

Jake "Ace" Norton
Former Delta Force Operator, friend of Brian's. Brian and Jake had met in Somalia, Africa during Operation: Restore Hope. After hearing about the death of Brian's family, he went to Denver to check on friend, but Brian had already started his mission of revenge. Jake decided to help out Brian and Anne just to have their back.

Once Brian had completed his mission, his plan had been to turn himself in if he hadn't gotten caught by then. Shane and Anne had a long talk with him and Shane pulled some strings and made some things happen and the four became a black ops drug enforcement team, unofficially working for the DEA.

This guy is based on the name on the rail alongside the canopy of the Dragonfly. I wanted to use the 'Walter C. Culbert' name and I knew he had to be involved with helicopters. After realizing the early JOEs did not have a Huey chopper, I created a crew to man it. Deuce (short for 'Ma Deuce' aka the M-60) is the first one I've gotten done through heromachine.

I like him. Always seemed like it would be a fun job, even tough in Vietnam the life expectancy was pretty low. I can see this like the door gunner from Full Metal Jacket, "GET SOME!"

Ma-Deuce is actually the Browning M-2 50 cal like Ultimate Roadblock has. The M-60 "Deuce" is shown with it the "D" version, usually called a Dog or Pig. Thought the Joes tend to mod their weapons up a bit, the fore-grip is not part of the D, but can be found on the M-60E3. Designed to be slightly smaller and more light weight, it had reliability issues due to the lighter barrel. It was eventually phased out and replaced by the M-240G, the machine gun Roadblock V2 comes with.

Yeah, I spaced on that. This was my second attempt at the character, Firefox crashed while I was saving, so I had to redo it from scratch.

I think the life expectancy for a Huey doorgunner was five minutes. I tried to give him a 'monkey harness' to get him secured in the cabin. That's the two pieces going out of his shoulders. Also added the eye black to help with his vision.

I also was listening to as I worked on this one. Always reminded me of Hueys flying low over the rice paddies...

I've finally updated the site after a while. This time, we have obscure G.I. Joe cartoon characters turned into Joes. Japanese trainee Teiko, and Quick Kick's girlfriend Amber:

Another one of my characters from the early days of the :og13:

Deadbolt, Military Polce

Deadbolt may not be an *official* JOE as such, but he is one of the many support members that can be called upon to help the JOEs whether they know of the help or not. Like Shooter, Deadbolt is assigned to Fort Wadsworth where he not only performs his duties for the post, but protects the GIJOE Team at the hidden Motor Pool facility. He helps the JOEs by making sure the back fence is clear so they can safely enter or exit the Post unseen by curious Chaplains Assistants or the prying eyes of a Cobra Spotting Team.

Decided to take a break from some of my own characters and do another real character.

I think you'll recognize him.

After selecting the flags, I realized they showed up as black on his arms. I had to select the square, shrink it, color it white, place on arm, then put the flags over it.

Working on Cammy now.

Tried to do the '94 movie uniform justice. I think I might use a RoC Coer Girl or RoC Scarlett figure to work up a custom.

Just a tip about something that I noticed. When you have the images smaller like these, some of the details end up kind of getting squashed and looking different. If you use the Export option and make bigger images, you can see everything better.
