These aren’t technically new concepts, of course, but they were fun to recreate. Here are the uniform designs for the generic G.I. Joe troopers from the Sunbow cartoon. The men were all over the place, but the woman here is based on one of the characters seen in “Spell of the Siren”, which may have been the only time they appeared. Which is too bad, because their designs are actually much closer to the original thirteen’s standard outfits. If the female “greenshirts” appeared in any other episodes, correct me in the comments.

This is a character I originally conceived a way back, when I was coming up with official government agency liaisons who could interact with the GIJOE team and help clear up the red tape. Her Father introduced her to firearms and sport shooting as a way for the two to bond after the untimely death of her Mother.

Are you not a fan of ears? :D

I just noticed that they are missing in every one of you efforts.

Omitted by design?

Mainly just keep forgetting to put them on. Usually count on hair or head gear to hide them.

I always imagines the General was the land based version of the TTBP.

And since Major Storm was the commander of the General, I created a character to be in charge of the water version.

Another edition of Joes (or Cobras) redesigned as superheroes (or supervillains), this time it’s Destro and the Baroness. Granted, many members of Cobra has outfits that make them look like they could be the next enemy Batman or Spider-Man encounters, but it’s still fun to redesign them.

After a long absence, I am able to create more characters.

I lost all of the previous ones on my old hard drive, but I am glad I posted 95% of them on here and on Facebook, so I only lost some WIPs.

My first effort is Voltar.

Finally, another update! This time, we continue the theme of Sunbow cartoon supporting characters as Joes. First, Ramar, the giant Cobra slave Duke had to fight in the first mini-series, then we have Lifeline’s girlfriend Brittany Van Mark, who is revealed to be a helicopter pilot in the cartoon. Her uniform is based on the “fashionable” uniform she buys for Lifeline in that episode.

Anybody have any feedback? I'd love to hear it. Maybe even a request or two?

This update is based on the rough concept art for a Cobra sniper figure over at YoJoe.com, which may have not gone beyond this sketch stage. Supposedly code named “Shooter” (I guess Sniper-Viper sounds a bit too cute), but this is an interpretation of that artwork.

With all the computer issues I've had, I haven't been kicking out more of these.

Every one of my previous efforts exist only as pics on here, on Facebook, or were downloaded off Facebook and backed up on my external hard drive. I can't alter them in any way and would have to recreate them.

I had a few WIPs going and was fortunate to remember I had showed them off to Pugsley on Facebook chat. I just got these ones off there.

First up is Dreadnok Exile

A second version was started to tune down the Mortal Kombat 'Nightwolf' vibe I was getting.

This is Dreadnok Killjoy, avid horror movie fan...

again, a WIP trying to create a costume based on several horror characters.

Freddy's hat and claw
Mike Myers blue outfit
Evil Dead chain saw
Michael Jackson's Thriller jacket
Jason's hockey mask
Hannibal Lecter's brown mask
Pennywise's clown shoes
some nasty hair

This idea was way different from the mental image I sorta had when I created the character. For all I know, the guy would probably just go around with jeans and some t-shirt with a slogan on it or a themed picture t-shirt.
