trying to decide how I want to tackle all the markings.
I'm sure I don't want to hand paint them. If go anything like that route, it would be with a micro ink pen.
On the head, my first run through involved carving in the lines. Different than them being raised up (which is how the Legends figure does it), but in this scale, perhaps a suitable alternative. I don't mind painting by letting it get into the grooves then wiping away excess.
However, I think this works in a small space, like on his head. Not something I'll be able to do well on his torso.
Option 3 is decals. In some respects it makes sense since I use them so often anyway. In other ways, however, it feels like a cop-out.
Option 4 on my mind presently is to sculpt them as raised lines. I feel like I won't be able to settle on decals, unless I try this first and suck at it.
Anyway, here is how the body is coming along.
