Same here. Figure availability is abysmal, and I have never seen even some of the waves of MU that preceded the existing changes to Infinites. I daresay that I'll never see a Valkyrie in person here. On the DC side though, it seems that those 4 inch ones are fairly plentiful, or perhaps I just go there on a filling of the peg they had for them at Target. Not interested in any of them, even Catwoman who was there amongst the Penguin and Batmen. Picked her up for trading fodder down the line, perhaps. Maybe for a Valkyrie since I have a Pathfinder icon custom in mind.

I'd get a Black Cat, purely because I didn't leave any Mary Janes pristene for my MU Spiderman. Never cared for that pairing anyway since the sixties.

I got wave 3 at Dorkside toys. I assume it will be a while for Target to catch up.
Valkyrie is very nice.

Val is nothing more than Shulkie with a stupid wig (why do the braids go one in front and one behind her? Nobody ever wears braids like that by choice, imho), and a uselessly soft sword. The sculptors on the line -whom I pretty much assume have been BossFight for the past few year's worth of product - have been excellent, but the managerial choices for *every* other factor have been incompetent.

And seriously - WTF is up with them damned knee flanges?

They did the exact same thing to 25th :spirit: I guess it's some sort of action pose thing. It annoys me too.
The soft accessories is another major annoyance. It's not just Hasbro that's doing it. Multiverse Batman's grapple gun is really gooey.

Oh I know she's all but a Shulkie. My interest is purely in her head for a custom of Seoni, from Pathfinder fame since she sports two incredibly long braids as well, and if her torso is all Shulkie, then that means I can drill into the upper half of her for another six armed gal, specifically a Marilith from the planes.

If I am going to make any type if Valkyrie, it is going to be one that will look like she flew right off of the pages of Wagner's opus. Winged helm, true silver breastplates, greaves and sandals, dead Viking draped across her horse. ; )

I got Death's Head in the mail from HTS the other day, but only just got to open him. It's a great figure. My one complaint is, the best/armor/cape isn't attached to him. Has anyone glued this down to his torso? Is that a solution that works? If so, did you do it on the shoulders or the torso itself?

What a surprise my Target restocked wave 1of infinite! I'm not entirely disappointed. At least they are restocking in a timely manner now.

I put a tiny dab of superglue down near the front of his mid chest joint and another directly on the other side of his back and pressed the armor/cape down. It looks great and still allows the chest joint full mobility.

Awesome. Thanks. Definitely gonna have to try that. It really is my only complaint.

Just received Infinite Ares on my doorstep (a day early, thanks Amazon Prime!). Definitely on the better end of the spectrum of MU/MI figures. It's gonna be fun accessorizing him with spare HACKS gear. He should really have his traditional 'male shield&spear' symbol as his armor sigil instead of the skull&crossed swords he has.

My TRU restocked with about three cases of wave one. Hasbro is terrible at selling toys.

Got my Ares and friends from HTS yesterday. In package, Ares looks amazing. Haven't had the chance to open them up, but in package, it's about how I expected. Antman looks the lamest, but when I was already buying the rest, I couldn't say no to such an important character. Still mad he didn't come out in that comic pack with Moon Knight, though.

I bought Rescuer a wasp today, no new ones added. The wave with antman I had on preoder ages ago from BBTS but glad I cancelled as AntMan looks lame and Omega already had an didn't want Cyke and got the others months ago on ebay so I'm good on them.Ares is pretty cool, doesn't hold his weapons well though but Hot water soak would fix that
