You maybe to squeamish, and frankly i am to, but i would wonder if the skulls from some small dead animals like rodents, or small birds could be used for alien skulls. I wouldn't advocate going on a killing spree just to get a hold of skulls, but maybe if you have a mouse squatting your place or you find some owl droppings.

I am far from squeamish. I have a small sun-bleached rodent skull I found at the beach years ago that looks suitably otherworldly, but I am hesitant to use actual bio matter in customs as I do not know what type of smells or future decomposition may occur.

If a fisherman can hang a dead fish on his wall without it ever smelling, and a texan can put a cows skull on the wall without it crumbling there mest be a way. Maybe taxidermy would be a good place to start research

Heya!

So, I'm thinking about doing some "space crate" models for 3D printing. I was curious if you already have any of these items from your want list to help me get some measurements from them (just rough lxwxh).

Additionally, any other sizes that would be useful to you? Would it matter if they were open on the bottom? Would you be interested in them having removable lids?

The circle area on mine are a little larger, because I was thinking I could incorporate raised emblems (Rebel, Imperial, even COBRA).

I've got my first set drying now, will send you pics to see what you think.
