So, I won $300 by winning the summer segment of my NASCAR Fantasy league....I used it to finally get the Starscream SDCC set MISB. It just arrived. I have been wanting it for years, but the price was always too much. I ended up getting it for $160 shipped on eBay, which I think is a good deal, I was prepared to pay $200 based on what I have seen it go for over the last couple years. I now have the complete set of SDCC crossovers, I just need a place to display them....and that is coming in the next couple months.

I had an issues with a UPS shipment from Sideshow Collectibles being routed through Philadelphia instead of across town (Sideshow and I are both in L.A.) so I contacted customer service about it. They couldn't do anything about the shipment (its on its way back to me now, a week late) but said they'd get a credit from UPS for the delivery failure and would credit me the shipping for that order. Well turns out they did one better than crediting me the shipping... they sent me a 1/6 Star Wars Battle Droid and STAP set... for FREE! It arrived yesterday so now I have some cool free toys to play with this weekend.

I know Sideshow Collectibles stuff is out of the budget for a lot of you. But if you ever do buy something from them and have an issue of any kind, let them know. They'll do whatever they can to make it right. I can't give them high enough praise.

Well this was actually my haul from Coil Con on Saturday. I wish I had more money when I went as I had to pass up on so much that I'd have gotten in a heartbeat. I ended up taking my Terrordrome shell to the con hoping to sell it, and as I was getting ready to leave I finally did to the mother of Relentless & Blink from for Blink. I'm glad it went to someone who will play with it and get some fun use from it.

A couple of weeks old, but this is my western vacation haul. The figures are mostly for fodder. I have plans for pretty much everything. The Sherman is to display with my custom 50th Anniversary Action Soldiers and Marines. I'm super happy with the comics. They were mostly about 1$ apiece. I'm only missing a few to finish my Special Missions run.

Tuesday I got a big fat padded envelope full of GeeWunner G.I. Joe lego sets. Put them all together last night. Man I really love his stuff. This batch included...

Biohazard Cycle Set (neon green quad and cycle for the Convention Eco-warriors set, and an orange quad for the Zombie vipers but sadly this didn't make it into my package. Hopefully it will arrive soon)
Acrtic Sky Hawk (a white version of GeeWunner's Sky Hawk)
Arctic Quad (white quad)
Adventure Team yellow 6-wheeler
Adventure Team raft/quad set (yellow raft and quad with a bunch of accessories)

If you're looking to fill out your Kre-O G.I. Joe motorpool then GeeWunner is your best bet.

After getting my temp crown removed and replaced with the permanent crown, I stopped at Lowe's to get some supplies.

I had picked up four sets of the smaller 3 shelf metro shelving some weeks back and toyed with the idea of making them stackable. I figured I would need to come up with a connector and then just turn one set of legs upside down. I took one of the legs in and found that 5/8s threaded rod fit inside snugly. I deduced I should use 6 inch sections to give support in both upper and lower legs. Hopefully if my math skills didn't fail me, a 36 inch section and a 12 inch section would give me enough. Then I grabbed 8 nuts to fit the threaded rod. Now I just need to cut them into 6 inch sections.

Went to Wal-Mart to look for some mini plastic crates and some new plastic storage containers. Found 12 purple stackable mini crates on clearance for $.75 each. Some are going in my bathroom to provide some additional storage. Found 2 small plastic containers to put some 25th/ME fodder in.

Stopped at Ollie's and did see the Star Wars vehicles. I forgot to write down who needed what, so I didn't grab any. Wanted to get the AV-7 Mobile Cannon and the Swamp Speeder, but they were not together in a set. All the others were in varied configurations.

Grabbed a media shelf and a bookcase to get some stuff organized.

Stopped at the comic book store and there was only 2 GIJOE comics for me...

Think about who you are asking and then ask yourself, do you really want to know? :darkjedi:

1) My Mom needed to replace several lengths of garden hose she had that were starting to fall apart.

2) We have several garden hose holders secured to walls every 50 feet or so, for staging. If she only needs to water one area, she uses the first hose. If she needs to water way out back, then she needs to use a longer hose. Property is 146 feet deep on the map, but with all the structures and such, the hoses don't go as the crow flies.

3) Way out back is the burn barrel, away from any structures. Years ago we bought a section of the corrugated culvert pipe (over 40 inches wide) that we use to get rid of brush/limbs/wood products. Light that sucker up and it is like an incinerator. There is also a 55 gallon drum we use to burn off smaller stuff. We run the hoses out there and spray the surrounding area to prevent any fires. :D

Perfectly logical, besides it was 5-50 foot sections for $3 each. That was 75% off...
