Here are a couple pics of my Zombie Response Team(ZRT). I hope to have more close ups to post, tomorrow. The figures are mainly LBC's, with a little blood splatter to weather them. This is a vehicle that I have wanted to try for a long time. I liked how it came out, so I had to have a team to go with it. I was trying to give it a real life look and feel. Please let me know what you think!

Recipe:
Zombie Slayer Truck
The truck was a Lanard Corps fire truck
I removed the ladder mechanism, and retrofitted it with a modified Star Wars radar dish. The hard suction hoses on the sides, now serve the roll of pressurized tanks for storing the fuel for the flamethrower nozzle on top(flame effects are on the way!).
The Stell grating protecting the windows, is made from plastic needlepoint canvas.
The 6 point blades on the front bumper, came from a small Speed Racer car donated by my kids.

ZRT members:
All are Cobra Shock Trooper bodies, fitted with PIT Trooper Riot gear, and one has gear from a Snake Eyes(I think) or someone else.
The five fully covered heads came from Renegaes Cobra Troopers, and the commanders head is from Retaliation Firefly, wearing a PiT Trooper helmet. Machetes, flamethrower backpack, and guns are from fodder bin.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, as this is my first shot at weathering a vehicle, since all the medical issues started. I could picture it in my head, but as I did each piece separately, I wasn't sure that they were going to mesh together, to give the effect I wanted. In the end though, I am very happy with it!

Love that vehicle! You did a lot of great work on it. I want so badly to find that needlepoint stuff. My Wally doesn't carry it. I want to use it to glue onto man hole lids and for fire escape stair well. Figures are cool too. Might I suggest a dark red wash over the blood. It will two tone it and make it the deeper darker red blood is.

Medatron, thanks. I am getting some better pictures and close-ups of the truck and figures. I actually did a 2-tone red on stuff, and hope it shows up better in them. I did up the inside of the back, a little, and added the observation cameras to the front center, under the lightbar, and one on the passengers rear, that will be visible in new pics. I used a couple of underwater SEAL cameras from Power Team Elite figures. I will be adding a couple more items to it, once I get them, and I will be making some Zombie Response Team logo decals for it. I also opted to keep the electronic siren and lights, as the light and sounds would be used to lure zombies to them, as they are out looking for them.

Gonna echo the sentiment for a little darker shade for the blood, but other wise they're prefect. I actually use dark brown on my zombies for blood, it's a little more subdued and more true to dry blood. But that's not to say zombie figures need to be hyper realistic or anything... the original Dawn of the Dead used very, very bright blood.

The vehicle is great, and something I want to add to my zombie collect. Nice use of the firetruck, I'd have never guess that was the base.

This would look great on the next episode of TWD! :) Love what you did with the needlepoint plastic too! I am totally ripping that idea off. I will probably use it for "grates" in floors and whatnot. Brilliant work my friend, can't wait to see what are you planning on doing with the parts I am sending your way!
