my work just keeps getting harder to photograph! these are the best shot/angles i could get of my jungle base. just the first coat of paint, still lots to do

my first attempt at spraying a pattern!

some kind of netting around sides, lots of hanging spanish moss.

i have the internal ladder and rope ladder

maybe sculpt the lower supports into branches

paint!

been working on this all weekend. i just discovered tom waits this year. his music has become some of the wife and i's favorites. from the piano has been drinking to outwest, truly revolutionary music.

base figure/hat is indiana jones
jacket is mib
head is unknown cast, i ground off a watch cap, cut off the neck and hallowed it out, sculpted forehead and hair
megaphone started as the dollar tree figure acessory. lots of bits glued on with masking tape bell

i saw atleast one 1:18 custom on pinterest, i got a ?thread around here somewhere, and lots of 1:6 heads and factory figures on the net. it's a real important custom for me and i hope paint goes aswell as the fabrication!

I was working on a Tom Waits figure last year but it ended up looking more like Abe Lincoln. That is looking sharp.

i got stiffed on a huge fodder lot on ebay and it has kind of put me in a creative slump the last few weeks. this weekend i started a few wips to help get me back on track. joe pesci just kind of happened. i had some extra milliput that i didn't want to waist, so i opened my head box and .......

here he is with the base figure for height/scale comparison

my other project this weekend is jack reacher. i've listened to about a dozen reacher books and saw the hollywood vision. my figure fixes the movie mistake

i'm not 100% happy with reachers torso/shirt sculpt. i might grind and repaint it.
