I found a bust of Ronald McDonald yday as I was entering the house. It had a plug at the bottom that suggested its prior use in a happy meal toy of some sort, and was dirty as if it had been buried a goodly while.

I cut/pasted the collar to an Arctic MegaCoD and swapped on some legs to get the look I want.

But I'm stumped for a good clown paintscheme. I figure he works as Joker's jester, keeping him entertained with antic the Joker finds amusing. Like fighting children, with knives.

Painting him as a Joker Mini-Me is too obvious, imho; but I've no better idea than that. I don't want to alter the face as it's really tiny in there, and I'm hoping painting the hair will get away from too strong an RMcD resemblance. Hopefully.

So, any ideas? Anybody with PShoop skillz wanna take a stab at it?

Maybe go with a Bozo-esque paint theme but instead of the dots of color on the outfit use colored skulls or skull and crossbones.

Why fight the obvious? Unless you alter the head it will still look like Ronnie McD. Painting it like the Joker would help a little because he'd be more of a character accessory at that point. Sometimes going with the answer right in front of your face is the right answer.

his look/sculpt are distinct enough from the joker, that sharing the same paint scheme would not automatically make him a mini-me.

something about the shirt though, looks to me like a straight jacket. Can you make it look like they keep him in one, and let him loose for his arena fights?

Maybe invert some of the classic McD colors. white institutional looking jumpsuit--red and yellow stripped sleeves--green hair perhaps to homage Joker.

I'm thinking lots of neon, and neon markers over that to bring out scary messages.

What about painting him up as John Wayne Gacy?

Would fit with the kids part too.

Seems in bad taste.

Many thanks for the suggestions, gents. I'm gonna let them simmer in my subcon a bit while I finish up a couple other guys. And no, no JWG lookalike. I don't wanna be thinking of real kids hurting when I look at my toys, regardless of how tasteless the toy itself is, y'know?

Gotta go with bindy and pluv on this one.

Quick and dirty photochop. If the green and purple is still too Joker, trying swapping them.

Sculpt on or transplant some buckles onto the chest, and some straps from harness hanging down from the sleeves for restraints.

Waterslide Arkham logo on the back.

I'd also recommend "Wild Card" as a possible name, though that sounds so obvious I'd be impressed if there wasn't already a Joker related character with that name.

I would go orange for the shirt and lime green for the gloves and collar. For the pants I make them purple with lime green stripes then dirty them up a bit. I would color the hair purple with green make up on his lips then maybe highlight above his eyes a light purple.
