Oh, and it'll seem huge next to Joe vehicles, since they're pretty much all shrunk down.

That will make the Rhino build much easier

Some of the larger Joe vehicles are shrunk but a lot of the small to medium ones seem pretty on scale when you set them next to an 1/18 diecast vehicle.

Now that said I am guessing that these trucks are actually like 1/17 scale. I went to my local farm store today and they had one of these sitting right next to a Bruder. Everything about it was definitely noticeably smaller then the Bruder. The nose seemed a little big but the cab seems almost perfect and the wheels seem pretty close.

Picked this up on sale at Mills Fleet Farm. They get a huge selection of farm toys for the holidays, and these have tempted me for a couple years. You can also find them online, though they tend to be a bit pricey. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_ ... ames%2C156

It's listed as 1:16, but honestly I think it fits perfectly with Joes. Sorry the pics are less than great, I don't have a photo setup big enough for this thing. I will have to remove the drivers side armrest though, it took some real work to get a figure in there around it.

OK here are a couple pics of this exact model of Semi (It is a beast of a machine) with people standing by them for comparison. That air cleaner is neck level on your Joe and mid shoulder on the real people so that is really really close.

OK Got my grain truck version in Saturday. I feel comfortable saying 1:17 so pretty darn close. I plan on using it to make a MASK Rhino. One problem is the wheel base is set up for being a grain truck not for being a semi tractor. So I am going to need to shorten the frame by a couple of inches and move the rear axles closer together but it looks very promising.

Thanks, got a lot of stuff to get out of the way before I can really start.
