I think that the smaller scale is an attempt to offer something new while being stuck with the same few characters once again.

I have zero interest in Avengers figures due to the same old character retreads. Dear GOD they need some fresh characters . I'd be happy with an animated Avengers Assemble version of the Falcon (armor and helmet). I wince when i see most Avengers / Marvel toys.

all they had to do was unsuited versions of every character. Cap and Tony each went more than half of their last respective individual titles out of uniform.

How refreshing would it be to see support characters like Coulson, Pepper, etc...

Even as a kid I enjoyed the ability to make the hero be a real person also.

Of course... that is all subject to wanting those kind of figures only if using Joe styled parts. Articulation AND materials both. 5 POA versions would not count. I don't think even MU versions where they all effectively have spandex and greek god body types would work either.

Here's the line

The Quinjet might have some use for Heroclix figures, otherwise that line will be a dud.

If they have to push Avengers, since I doubt we will ever see a true Marvel Universe line again as before, at least throw us a bone and give us some Avengers West Coast. : /

You have to hand it to them: they managed to cram a staggering amount of suck into some really tiny toys.

Honestly, as long as prices keep heading sky high, I couldn't care less. No way am I paying $13+ for a 4" figure, so they may as well not exist until Hasbro (or the retailers, or whomever is responsible for the astronomical new prices) return from their sojourn into fantasy land.

This^
I've moved on for years now due to price and lack of interest. Which is nuts as i want to support Joe and still buy the comics and visit Joe sites.
Eventually "they'll" get their **** together. Or not. It doesn't matter to me any more.
