Up first, Captain Caveman. This one came together today. I've been thinking about it recently, I figure he's a dude who has lost his mind and goes around clubbing the crap out of zombies while screaming and yelling a lot.
I added "real" chest and arm hair using the method I did with Charlie Brown, I cut up some of an old ragged paint brush, laid down a little glue, and stuck the hair on. It's far from perfect but I like it. I was gonna go further up the arms with the hair but decided I like the hairy forearm look.
I may go back and do a bit of weathering around the bottom of the skin, boots, and lower pants.
A firefighter in full Turn Out Gear
OreoBuilder did one a while back,
http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/custo ... 34id=14194I went a slightly different route and based it on my own Turn Out Gear, I became a Volunteer Fire Fighter after doing all the research for my Fire Fighter figure group.
This one is of a buddy who is battling cancer. He's been in the hospital for a while and I made this to try and cheer him up some. He owns a gym where he's a gymnastics coach so I added the logo of his gym to his shirt.
Just another zombie. Trying to use up parts and make figures I can do quickly to quench my customizing thirst between feedings and diaper changes.
And lastly, another one inspired by OreoBuilder, the guys stuff is awesome. Science Vipers. Another couple of figures that were easy to make, used up parts I wouldn't have done anything with, and fill in a need for my Cobra troops.
