I snagged 2 of the TRU AoU 2-packs at JoeCon for $10 a piece - Cap/BW and IM/Fury. For $10 they make for some decent fodder.

Is the War Machine mentioned super-articulated or of the 5 POA variety? If articulated I'll need that one in a bad way.

When we call these super articulated, just how much does that mean?

It's the cheap 5-POA one. That's a great price for those 2-packs, BTW.

More than 5-POA, but less than we've seen before. :-/

Okay, so like a repaint of the IM3 figure then? Oh who am I kidding. With 5 POA I'll be skipping it for sure.

And yeah, I was surprised the guy sold them to me for that price. Granted it was Sunday but still, they were tagged with a post-it price tag as $10. I asked twice to clarify and he was "yep, that's wholesale and a great price". I couldn't give him the $20 bill fast enough.

The repainted Iron Man is the super articulated figure of the bunch. He retains all the articulation we have come to expect.

It's all existing molds in the 2 packs. Iron Man is a repaint of the Mk 42 from the Disney Store 6 pack, Cap is basically a reissue of Stealth Suit Cap from the Winter Soldier line and Fury and Widow are the same figures from the first Avengers movie line with slightly different paint.

There's a third pack coming with repacks of the Hawkeye from the first movie line and Falcon from Winter Soldier.

Picked up 5 POA Ultron at Kmart. I could cry, it's such a great sculpt for a BAT endoskeleton if it weren't for the lack of movement.

I've seen several MU figures lately that I'd like to have, especially Bishop, but I cannot justify $12.99. Sort of hoping for a sale.

Haven't been to TRU in weeks, but might be going tomorrow. I'm curious to at least see these AoU packs.

Well, I got a nice deal on the aforementioned Bishop today, but not at Target.

I got this $10 gift card in the mail for Kohl's. Now, sometimes Kohl's has decent toys, sometimes not so much. But $10 off almost anything is not a bad deal. Last year, I got several nice shirts at excellent prices this way, as Kohl's not only has some good sales, but they'll add that gift card on top of it.

The last time I was in Kohl's, they didn't have much. So I wasn't expecting much. But -- here was an Avengers stand-up cardboard display in the toy section. One side was filled with Titan Hero figures. Bleh. No interest there. But the other side had the latest Marvel Universe -- including Bishop.

Same price as Target -- $12.99. Except -- Kohl's was knocking a bit off all action figures, and I had the $10 gift card.

Total out-of-pocket expenses on Bishop -- $1.84. :D

Isn't that in the same neighborhood that 3-3/4" Star Wars figures were back in the late 1970's...?
