Jammer looks about how I expected he would. The British flag on the sleeve is a nice touch. Definitely a cool figure, and a welcome entry into the "international modern style" ranks.

Barricade is cool, but the armor actually looks a little overdone. Still, this can't have been an easy character to bring together at all, especially using existing parts, and I have to give the Club a good measure of credit for even attempting him.

Yeah, I'm digging Jammer for some reason which surprises me since I'm normally not big on international figures, but considering the GIJCC has used the PoC Destro torso a few times, I think that would have been closer to the original Barricade's torso than the Accelerator Suit pieces. I like using the legs from the Accelerator Suit for Barricade, but the torso just doesn't work for me...

Its possible the POC Destro torso doesn't work with the arms they've chosen to use. That's something I don't think we consider when discussing these figures - how the parts physically work together. Anyone that's customized a few modern style figures can tell you that piecing these together isn't a piece of cake. No two torsos are the same inside. Yeah they are mostly close but some arm holes have deeper sockets, some have wider holes for the shoulder pegs, some are angled weird. Some arms won't fit because the sculpting will interfere with articulation. Plus the neck balls have to work with the heads they choose not to mention the webgear. Legs are a bit easier to piece together because they use the same universal T-bar connection point. And that's not even considering how the steel tools are laid out. The legs for the ROC Accelerator Suit might be part of the same tool as the torso, so they might as well use all the parts since the tool is going to be prepped and in production rather than drag out a totally different tool for a torso that might look better but might be out of the tool usage budget.

Mind you, this is all speculation on my part, based on my dangerously small knowledge base on such things.

I looked over the barricade again. The arms are just too darn stubby for the figure. They should have kept the roc arms in place.

I went and looked at the original figure that this Barricade was based on as well as customs in the gallery, just because I never had that figure and am not very familiar with the character, and parts choice aside, I don't think there is anything they could have done to make me like this figure in that paint scheme. There are custom Barricades that I like, but they did not use gold armor over a blue base, Oreobuilder's Night Force version comes to mind. I have also seen custom Barricades in this paint scheme with better parts choices (Icecreaman and OB both have good versions), but I still would not want to buy it if this version had the best parts choices. For me, the version 1 update of this figure never had a chance no matter what the club did.

Barricade sucks. And is likely to use that PoC Dusty head again. Because... Who actually cares if the Joes all look alike?

Jammer is ok. Nothing worth exorbitant club prices though.

I really like Barricade. I understand that they have to use parts that exist, so while he isn't as perfect as he could be if they had new tooling, I still really like him. Wish the helmet was different, though, or they can find a way to make it hold together better. Jammer is boring. With all of the international figures they put in this line, I wish they'd do a zany Funskool figure, but Joe fans and the Club seem to hate figures that are fun, they always have to be ultra realistic anymore.

I did a dry run on signing up and for me in Maryland with the cheaper shipping, no insurance, and one installment, it comes to $29.88 each for 13 figures. If anyone was curious.

I am not signing up this time. I only want 1 or 2 figures. I did the club for the $44 to get pythona though

Just read on some other site that the club is having BotCon registration issues and FSS 4 sign up issues so FSS 4 reveals may be delayed.

They just put Law & Order up despite the problems. I think I will be picking this one up from somewhere.

I'm surprised that the Club didn't use the 25th Dusty legs for Law, but otherwise he's exactly what I expected and a great update.

Now that's an awesome Law. He's just what he should be -- a good modern version of the original figure. Outstanding!

Renegades Law in ARAH colors with Wild Bill's vest. I've seen some complaints about the helmet being too small but aside from that this is exactly what I wanted.

I wonder if the Shock Trooper helmet would fit better?
