I got Horizon Brave from the Pacific Rim line over the weekend. He looks awesome. Like a walking WWII bomber.

Snagged a nice little bundle of stuff from eBay - all for $50 shipped (the second Shanna I actually got from Amazon for $12 the other day.)

Ultimate Gobby is going to be a base for a Surtur custom.

How's the plastic on the Shanna you lucky so..er most gifted in the realm of finding the good stuff? ; ) Painted or cast in flesh?

Does she suffer from the same left leg zombie fall off disease as Black Cat does?

So... so... lucky.

The legs are the best part of the figure, Cap - painted flesh, good range of motion, staying on the hip joints so far - the only thing missing is a calf/boot swivel. The arms appear to be Black Cat arms cast in flesh, and of course the awesomely-sculpted torso doesn't have a torso/waist joint :-/

But the headsculpt is great (the left eye is unpainted, however) and the legs will make for some excellent Teela/fantasy customs to be sure :D

EDIT: was gonna post the link to Amazon where I snagged one for $12 (cheaper than Target) but they jacked it up to $28 in the last couple of days :(

Kind of offtopic, but that Sauron custom is sick, Chief. The Toybiz one was one of my favorite figures as a kid.

My Mom has been on a vacation since May 14th and has managed to pass through a number of states on her travels.

I gave her some "can you look for this for me" money before she left.

Today she calls me from a TRU near Houston. Seems she found a ton of Retaliation figures marked down to $4. She grabbed about 4-5 Blind Master, 4-5 Firefly w/mini-HISS, and 12+ Lady Jaye.

She had already grabbed 5 of the 50th Lady Jaye/Baroness sets for me at another TRU in Evansville (Indiana?).

I went to Kmart yesterday and they had the Bishop wave sitting on the pegs. A sale tag was hanging for "AVN HEROES"...on sale for $3.24 each. I assumed it meant the leftover Avengers figures from years ago. But I scanned Bishop and he was $3.24. Brought him, Black Cat, Dark Beast and Big Time Spidey to the register and wound up having $5 in surprise points and 21 cents in rewards as well. I spent a total of $8.22 for the four figures.

My Marauder Task Force Kickstarter figures arrived today. All I can say is HOLY HELL these are awesome. These are a customizers dream. There are so many configurations that even with one figure and one set of accessories you could make dozens and dozens of variations.

Since I was still recovering from a cardiac procedure on my birthday, I was unable to do anything fun to celebrate it.

Tonight, Liz took me out for the first part of my 42nd Birthday Do Over!

Here is what I got tonight:

I also got 2 new pairs of sneakers.

There is more coming soon as my 42nd Birthday Do Over is not over yet! :)

Awesome haul! Is the Diablo figure to keep as is, or are you going to turn it into something AMAZING?

Happy Do-Over-Birthday Spectre!

Thanks!

As of right now, I do not plan on modding the Diablo aside from fixing any paint issues that may or may not be present when I open it. I love the way it looks as is. However, if a cool idea pops into my head after opening it, then I will do so :)
