I know this sounds kind of weird but I would love to see a page like a Group Project for these. That and a group picture with the customs from last year.

Desert Viper is a great figure Ozzie. You'll have to show me how to do that chocolate chip camo. I have a project in mind to use it.

I would love to take a group picture of everything from both years. It's not impossible, but it would be expensive to ship everything to one place. The figures and vehicles are in a few places: bucky's, Dusty79's and mine. So far, Bucky has shipped his figures to me to shoot, but vehicles have stayed with their respective creator. I don't even want to think about how much it would cost to ship out the Orca and the Venom Chopper from part 1, as well as a few things we haven't shown from part 2 :shifty:

Day 11 is up with the return of a character from part 1: Eagle Eye!

You can see a decent chunk of them together at various conventions, but yeah, it can be pricey.

Trust me, I'd love to get my hands on that Orca from part 1!

Thanks for the support Joecustoms!

Thanks for the love, Guys! It's an honor to participate. :)

OB, the chocolate chip paint job was surprisingly easy. I started with the gray blobs...no distinct pattern, so easy to fix. I added the blue by bordering on one part of the gray (if I did it again, I would make my blue a little bit more prominent in it's mass/size). After that, I very carefully dabbed white dots in various places. The last touch was the black. Besides holding breath a lot, it was as simple as using a super fine (.20mm) black permanent marker and bordering part of the white. That additional black really made it pop, in my opinion.

Coming up with the Desert-Viper file card was interesting. This was one of the few figures that I got to see in advance before writing the file card, and I quickly realized that this was a very serious desert trooper that completely lacked Cobra's usual weirdness. I thought this would make it a difficult challenge, until I realized that the serious look of the figure, and the complete lack of Cobra-weirdness, was what really made him stand out from the Cobra crowd, so that was what I based the file card around. This is a new, no-nonsense Cobra desert trooper that is as bad-@$$ as they come. It's a great custom, and I'm sincerely pleased to have written his file card.

Nice Eagle eye is my favorite so far, great parts selection. Who's head does he have and any chance you couldpost the one from last year next to the new one to compare?

I'm curious about the unmasked head too. I'm guessing it's a Marvel Steve Rogers? Bucky can confirm. Here is the side by side comparison.

The alternate head is from a newer target elite force figure.

Really like the Techno-BAT, and there's some hilarious lines on the file card, including Cobra Commander's quote as well as the remark about "not pressing any strange buttons" until you "read the owner's manual" that make me wish I'd written this card instead of just formatted it.

And the Debugger is a very cool vehicle! Very nice custom work on this!

Coming up with that SWARM file card pattern was an interesting challenge, as well.

Late to this thread.

Such great ideas manifesting here.

Love what you've done with the old familiar characters and all the new ones feel totally authentic...like they could've come straight from the old Battle Corps era.

I'll be checking this more regularly for sure.
