That Chameleon is going to be hard to find real fast.

You're probably right, but that torso is hideous. With some of these figures, you can tell Hasbro barely tries. You can tell they barely try with the entire line since practically no stores have stocked anything besides the GotG repack wave.

That GotG wave was the laziest they ever got. I figured that they would at least repaint them in reds to be more "movie accurate." But no; just direct rereleases of the figures you could find being clearanced in a 3 pack at the exact same time.

The sad part is I got a clearance 3 pack cheaper than you could buy one figure from that wave.

The sad part is that this line is the biggest disappointment in toy history, imho. Compared to what we all thought when we first heard 'Hasbro 18th Marvel toyline', what we've gotten is the most dismally pathetic crap. Literally the only truly good aspect of years worth of action figures are the BFS-sculpted heads.

Just give up the collector market entirely and let some Japanese companies handle 18th scale figures, Hasbro. Bandai could give us what we want, and wouldn't shie away from vehicles, either.

Based on the 1/18 figures Bandai released in America, you could forget the swiveling arm articulation.

You'll note I specifically didn't say 'Bandai America', which is practically a different company from Bandai.

They turned up on Amazon after last Christmas for $3 dollars. (I think some were $2.95 and some were $3.53). I ended up getting the GOTG characters, Valkyrie, and Beta Ray Bill at that price. Otherwise I never would've bothered. Even being cheap bastards, they could've maybe re-colored Drax to fit the movie and offered a Chris Pratt head.

Is there a reason why there was no toys linked to the new FF4 movie?
Is it because it's not linked to the Marvel Movieverse or is that a new trend since Ant-Man barely got a figure and a Lego set?
