Dang, more expensive than Hasbro but cheaper than GIJCC, $24.99. Hard to tell about likeness in that shot, but the paint apps look good.

Also, the Power Loader, for $100. Heck a pvc statue version I was looking at was $35.

The power loader looks great. At $100, I am not going to rush to pre-order it just yet. The figures look okay and will probably be way better in their movement than the HotToys snap kits. However at 25 bucks each I can't help but think the sculpting should be better and more streamlined. I know, I know, Acid Rain, Lost Planet, etc. run $25 -$30 each. I'm just not going to be happy about it. Also, the guns don't look as good as the ones Marauder put out.

That is an awesome looking Power Loader, but I cannot justify $100 for a toy that size.

I can, however, request it as a gift...

I've got one of their Warrior Aliens, and it's pretty nice except that one of the hip joints came undone where the plastic goes thru the loop. I've not gotten any more although I do want more and am interested in the Loader. But I can't see it being a fair price unless it comes with a Ripley figure, or *some* figure. The Acid Rain Laurel is the same price with a pilot.

I was a bit shocked by the price of the Power Loader at first, especially since it basically costs the same as the 6" Neca version.
Once I considered that the Hiya figures are about the same price as the Neca 6" figures, then the price for the Power Loader seemed more in line.

I have some of the Marine figures on pre-order, but in order for me to keep my pre-orders the painted samples better look a lot nicer than the prototypes they are showing. So far I am not very impressed, especially for $25.

The Power Loader will be had, no hesitation there.
As long as it continues to look as good as the pictures they are showing now, there would have to be a pretty big drop in look / quality for me to not get it.

I've read a few different cases of the figures not being very durable. Makes me really glad I had no interest in them. The Hot Toys figures look a lot nicer anyway, and more accurate to the Aliens film, which is what really matters to me.

I want to see the final product...might be cheaper then trying to scout of the Hot Toys, which can pricier and harder to find by the day.

Great news, originally they were not going to do the appropriate paint apps...but people poured out support for it on their facebook page and they're going to have the paint apps!

For some reason they were gonna go with painting the Marines accurate to one or another videogame, not the movie. Maybe because they didn't/couldn't get likeness rights.

BBTS price on the Power Loader dropped to $85.

New pictures of the Marine figures.

Hicks:

Hudson:
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=HIY10013&mode=retail

And pre-orders, cancelled.
These look really bad. Not only do the details look soft, the faces look cartoony and the colors are horrible. They also got the helmets wrong. They are missing the 'lobster plates' on the back.

Thankfully the new pictures of the Power Loader still look great.

How do they look compared to the games?

Pretty much as bad as they look compared to the movie.

Likeness wise, not even close considering Michael Biehn reprised his role as Hicks. Hudson was just a corpse, but still looked WAY more like Bill Paxton than that thing Hiya Toys made.

Just noticed that the helmets are also missing the ear flap over the left ear with the boom mic on it.

Rats, I was hoping the head sculpts would be decent at least, so I could get some Johnny Ringo and Morgan Earp customs or of them.
