Dragonfire and Mongoose - VERY cool. And I especially like that last art image that looks like something right out of the animated series! AWESOME!

Mongoose might be my favorite figure so far. I couldn't tell from the pics, does he fit in the Dragonfire?

Thanks. Yes he will fit. I did some cutting inside removing the existing seat and another thing they had in there and a modern joe will fit. It's tight though.

I like the Devil SHARC. I used that same Corps! vehicle for a Water Moccosin 2.0 to go with my Copperhead update.

You know, I've still never seen the Corps hovercraft in store anywhere. Pretty weird. Anyway, I like the use here a lot. Can never go wrong with orange sea vessels. I even like the name where you're trying to combine the capabilities of different vehicles. Seems like a very real world thing that is going on right now.

Overboard is a nice addition to the roster. Obviously the colors work. Not a huge fan of incorporating the EEL backpack because it is so much a part of their look, but it certainly makes sense here.

Loving that Devil SHARC -- and now I have to find some orange paint....

And awesome detail work on Overboard - very cool custom!

yeah the orange paint is slick.

this one gets points for hitting the mark on really feeling like a vehicle and driver set you could have bought way back when.

I got to play with the Devil Sharc and Overboard while shooting the pictures and I have to say that it is a really fun toy. It is the kind of set that would have been on a lot of missions if I had had it as a kid. The driver fits seamlessly into the cockpit, the hidden missiles are a neat feature and Overboard is the right mix of realistic and bright colors.

Day 29 is up. Cobra strikes back hard with the newest incarnation of the HISS tank.

That new HISS Tank is sick. I immediately pegged it as a Star Wars vehicle but wasn't sure which one.

What I really like, and something that speaks to this whole series of projects, is the little details like the Cobra sigil on the drivers thigh. I'd have never considered putting a Cobra sigil on the thigh like that but it really works.

Thanks MS. I'm not really well versed in Star Wars, so anytime I use that stuff I fear it will be obvious and distracting to those that really know that line. The helmet on Sabot-Viper is also Star Wars, but modded.

I have a couple of new favorites, and they include Overboard and the Devil Sharc, and the new HISS with the Sabot-Viper. I wrote the file card for the Sabot-Viper "sight unseen", and this is just an amazing figure!

I know I've said this a few times already, and most of us are probably thinking it, but it deserves repeating after these two awesome entries -- WHY ISN'T HASBRO MAKING STUFF THIS COOL!???!
