This figure is basically why I started doing figure customs. I initially wanted to make a good version of Dusty, but quickly found out I wasn't capable of doing what I wanted. So after a few years of work, several versions of Dusty, and a lot of screw ups, I finally have a Dusty that I really like. This took a lot of parts swapping to get where I wanted and thanks to Bucky for the scan of the arm patch that I made into a water slide decal. It is meant to be a blend of the original Dusty and the Sideshow figure Dusty.

:like:

About the only thing that would make this better would be pairing him woth the FOE Striker and taking pics in the sand.

Awesome, I like how he's got his own Awe Striker, they look perfect together.

I think he looks great. Wish I still had my original Dusty form at those year back but he got KIA. Mom and Dad was building a new house and I had him and a few others playing in the sand pile, they never told me the dozen was coming the next day to do the grade work so I left them set up so I could continue playing after school the next day. Too late, Dusty and several American Defense and Sgt.Rock figures were buried.

Dusty was my favorite as a kid. This is the modern Dusty I want, you nailed it.

THAT is what 50th Dusty should look like! Not that blue-hued atrocity Hasbro is trying to sell us.
