I picked up a Transformers Hero Mashers "Bulkhead" today at TJ Maxx, thinking I could turn it into some type of JOE Battle Suit/Robot/Weapons Platform...

I got the Alpine three pack today! Except that not really...it's an anniversary gift, so it's tucked away till then. I was blown away that my TRU actually restocked them, since the other day, they didn't even have a space for them anymore.

Is he the big green one? I got him too when I was working on all those mechs for the RVB challenge ... actually look quite good with the head removed... just a few Joe decals and it'd be good to go.

Picked up a trio of those Brick Warriors accessory warrior packs at ToysRUs. What drew me to them were the weapons and helmets, which some of them will be perfect for some of my figures. One set, had a near copy of the helmet that Ares wore in that Immortals movie, gold with the blades for a crest. I can fit these on some of the gal heads I saved like the MU Black Widow and Phoenix when I removed their hair for other customs, though I did test fit it on that DC Black Mask red eyed head and it was a tight fit, but a fit as well.
Interesting.
The anvil and hammers were perfect for small or mobile blacksmith areas I have, and one set had two sweet blades, one a near Isosceles triangle black sword, and the other a black Egyptian style hand scythe.

Scored these 2 cool dinosaur sets at Walmart for $14.97 each!

The figures are crap, but all 4 dinos are pretty nice. Bigger and heftier than the current "Jurassic World" line from Hasbro but they need repaints (except for the sweet red T-Rex that is a dead ringer for "Devil Dinosaur" :) ).

It is a weird knock-off of the bow w/sonic targeting system that Firefly used to kill the Hard Master from the 25A Comic Pack (that was also reissued with one of the TRU "Jurassic Joes" a few years back).

This one.

The joints need to be strengthened up first to support the weight. I don't see it as someone inside the suit and I'm not a fan of Mechs, so it's gonna be a robot the JOEs use.

Probably will end up being part of GIJOE robot squad, along with that Real Steel olive drab one.

If I find a few more, I could easily see variations like those Ironman drones (army, navy, etc)...

These sound really cool. I'm not sure my TRU carries these, or at least I've never seen them.

I'm heading by Walmart tomorrow, will have to see if they have these. If nothing else I can donate what I don't want or can't use to our kindergarten class.

I went to TRU this morning to check out the Star Wars offerings, I don't collect or buy SW but figured I'd see what all the talk was about. Anyway, they were stocking all the shelves and I found a couple cases of Joe product so I picked up the Gung Ho 2-pack, a Shipwreck 2-pack, and an Alpine 3-pack.

Working on updating the Shadow Guard figure and using the Gung Ho vest for a figure.

I picked up the Dusty / Bazooka / Firefly 50th 3-pack at TRU in Killeen TX.
After opening it I regret it.
Why are they blue?

*squints*

That looks similar to the MARS HEROES green mech (which is only $1 to $2 at most dollar stores ) or any of the knock offs of said mech.

Image

They also have a larger 9'' version of the mars heroes mech for $3 to $5

As some of you who've been here for a lil while may remember, occasionally I'll get a feeling that I'll need to go ahead and stop at the Goodwill store I'm about to pass by. Previous hunches have netted me the orange Corps John Eagle, 2 Corps Lazer Force figures (1 only missing his hoverboard and the other missing his accessories and lower right arm), and finally a really nice tank. Well Thursday I got the urge and I found a near grail piece. The Corps Emergency version of the their Swamp 6wd. I barely remember this even being made. And from what I do remember I'm only missing a couple pieces. And the best part is I only spent $1.99 on it. Feeling good.
And then in the mail yesterday I finally got Guilotine and a Comic Pack Gasmask Trooper.

I went on a comic shop crawl in San Diego today and picked up a bunch of Batman Knightfall saga comics in a dollar bin. But for some reason they had the main Batman title in the regular back issue section and all of those Knightfall books were at inflated prices so I passed on them. But the rest were a good score for me.
