Your firefighters are the best! Really great stuff all around, I really like your colors for the IG heavy.

A couple more updates before the wife gets home from work.

First up a few additions to my zombie horde.

This one was fun to put together. The torso and left arm are from one IJ figure, the right arm from another IJ figure, the legs from a Mutt Williams figure, and of course the head is Han. I wanted to differentiate this one from the 2 others I made using just the one IJ figure.

I had a Deadpool figure that was missing it's hands which I had used for another figure. I decided a medical experiment / amputee was in order. I modded the head to create an open mouth.

Image

This last one was originally a "self custom" for a JC contest where Joecon was attacked by zombies. I updated it with a different head, different lower arms, and all new paint.

I really need to take a full horde photo.

So over a year ago I did a trade with Spectre for some Cobra Commander figures. We talked about my plan to create a Darkwing Duck figure. My plan was to lose the duck aspect and create an elderly billionaire who lost his marbles when the zombies rose and decided he was a super hero. He was going to chose a hero he remembered watching with his granddaughter. Darkwing Duck.

Well then DanOfTheDead went and beat me to it.

His amazing figure is well amazing. I knew the moment he posted it that no one else could make it without crediting his work of art. I had waited far too long to make mine.

Fast forward 2 years and I'm finally posting it. I know the hat sits a little high and I'm going to work on lowering it, I may mod the head and make the hat non-removable. But till then here's my take.

Great take on Darkwing! I like your head choice there a lot! Funnily enough, I've got an armless Deadpool based zombie on my work bench right now!

Lots of awesome work here!

Here are today's additions.

Here's my land op version of Topside.

An as of yet unnamed Soldier

And finally I'm thinking this might become my Gallows. But I'm not sure yet. It was originally a different figure made of spare parts for a charity auction. It didn't sell, obviously, and I was never quite happy with it so I reworked it; swapped out the legs, reworked the paint, and now I'm okay with it.

I was going to wait till tomorrow to post these but I have so much to do before I go back to work on Tuesday that I figured I'd get these posted tonight.

MASK

Yes I am well aware that the masks sit high. I refuse to modify any more of these as I already ruined one and they are too rare and expensive to make mistakes with.

Boris Bushkin. I had to sculpt the fur collar, I modified then glued down the vest and sculpted the collar over the modded areas. He still has full waist articulation. I modded the pistol and holster to work, I give most of my MASK figures conventional firearms to fit my verse. That and the pistol looked like it could hold the rounds on the vest.

Hondo MacLean. He has swappable heads since the mask wouldn't fit on the head unmodded.

Dusty Hayes.

Thanks!

The head on Boris Bushkin is a WWE Big Show head, sanded down with beard added. The head on Hondo is just Ripcord. (I hope those were the heads you meant)

Dusty was my favorite Joe as a kid, and I think because if the name alone he was also my favorite MASK character. Your version of him is amazing!
