Thank you.

Oneforceleader - When we bought our house, I told my wife she gets a house, I get a basement and garage. lol. So the finished basement is my mancave, and where I keep all my stuff. I do the dirty work (sanding etc) in my garage. The rest of the house is hers to decorate or whatever.

Superman and the Zombie look good. I keep trying to look around the figures at the setting too.

Really cool stuff here.

I never would've considered that Black Mask base for Luthor, but it works.

Thanks. I will Chief. I needed to get batteries for my LED flashlight to shine through the gate from behind. I will get more pics shortly.

Here you go Chief. Dio is 3 pieces. Only 2 are newly made. The base/backwall piece (3rd pic) is a piece I made a long time ago. I just keep making new pieces to add to it modular style. One is a plane wall back, one a MK back, and now the Stargate. Going to eventually make a ninja weapon wall also to fit inside there. The Stargate doesn't glow when lit quite as good as I hoped. But not terrible.

Incredible :wow: is the SG effect printed on transparency film, or is that a "store bought" piece?

Home made. I just printed a screenshot of the movie stargate. On the back of the Styrofoam Stargate I glued a hard piece of clear bubble plastic from packaging to make it shiny. I then glued the Stargate print onto the back of that. The print was printed on cardstock. One piece of foam board (1/4 inch thick white to dilute the flashlights light some, no paint) onto the back of that. That allows light to go through it but not be obvious it is a flashlight. Paint and heavier foam blocks the light going through the rest of it.

do you have a kaleidoscope? that might create further light effects behind the portal.

Dude, poetry.

The set, the event horizon, everything.

Diorama poetry.

Having it so light can go through it is brilliant. I've had one in min using an iPad for the effect, but this is so much simpler.
