... now.

Continuity is pretty thick in this one, too, so if you aren't up on the GeneralsJoes history, you may want to check out the timeline.

Enjoy and I welcome any feedback you have!

Justin

Now? :shifty:

Once again, a fantastic opener. I love your characterization and Falcon is the coolest I've ever seen.

<==== Does not life Falcon usually.

Cant wait for the next part! :-D

Awesome... A great start! Lotta trouble to get rid of Headman though. They shoulda just capped him as soon as they pulled up.

It's like the season premeir of 24, Lost, and Heroes all rolled into one. So far so good.

Nice read, I tell ya, I sometimes forget to read the story because I'm all over the page looking at the dio work. I really enjoy how real you make your layouts and how clear you take your shots. Excellent work. It's the little stuff that make the shots work, rocks, dust and debris.. excellent..

I've been waiting for this.

Great start...kick start, even. Lots of action out of the gate and some of the best special effects in dios today.

Can't wait to see more.

Very cool, Justin! :D

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said - I loved this one.

Now when are you gonna start incorporating 25A figs into your dios? :P (I know, I know, they're not really compatible with ARAH figs - but you can't blame me for trying!)

Thanks, guys! Glad you like the chapter so far...I must admit I sometimes focus too much on action and not nearly enough on story development or plot (that becomes especially apparent with Spin Doctor's great characterizations in his dio's) but I do what I like, and I love laying out the action scenes, so I guess that's my "bag". ;)

I have to take them on a case by case basis. I will be using a 25th Anniversary figure as a pretty central character starting in Episode 4. The initial run of Anniversary figs soured me a bit on dio use, just because I found them a bit hard to work with, but the more recent stuff has been fantastic, so I have rethought my plans to not include them in dio's. You'll see someone make a splash in Episode 4. :)

Thanks again, guys!

Justin

Awesome, as always I'm so hooked that I can't quit clicking to the next page...and I'm ticked when I run out of pages.

Snake-Eyes seems to work pretty well as his sculpt isn't way taller than an RAH figure. Also, the leanness of the sculpt lends itself to an acrobatic type like the old Commando. The articulation is also a boon for that type of character. Ditto Storm Shadow.

Zartan is just flat out a cool figure. He is slightly taller than most RAH figures, but not as tall as some of the other 25A guys. Zartan is sort of inherently weird, so he might not look that ridiculous next to an RAH guy.

Hmmm... I'm going to guess you are going to use Snake Eyes!

I propose a contest. The person who makes the correct guess and guesses the character first gets to submit a custom or appear as a named character in one of your dios.

I suppose I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to my own stuff (by mid to late Feb I'd like to have a start on my own dios) and I decided to use the RAH figs though I gotta admit, I don't think that Storm Shadow, Zartan, or Snake Eyes would go too bad with any dio. I like the Scarlet and Baroness figs though and I do plan to use them in my own Dio Stories so if you were to make guesses I'd throw them into the mix as well.
