As the original HISS began to dwindle in number and connections with MARS severed Cobra turned to it's own motor pool to redesign the HISS as a combat Carrier vehicle. Double the size and armor of the original a corps of engineers worked tirelessly to provide this next generation field artillery. A role the MAGGOT was supposed to take, had Vance Wingfield and his Strike First team not stolen the entire battalion along side his troops that infiltrated the Desert Flak and Desert Range Viper units. To manage all of the new systems the operator systems of a dozen other vehicles where used and thus a combat awareness suit was developed for the Track-Vipers still using many of the impact armor elements of the original Hiss Operator suits.

Always liked that design, nice translation to the Sigma style.
