Apparently, he's suing Hasbro for lack of promised royalties that the Hassenfelds promised him back in 1963.

He would like the property returned to him.


I'd like to think that if he gets it, we'll see 12" GI Joes again, maybe a proper celebration for GI Joe's 60th Anniversary.

If it happens, either they give him a load of money to keep the brand alive or it'll just die, because I don't see a 87 year old man wanting to start a toy company just because he got his concept back.
Following the last few years, I doubt any other company would want to buy the brand either, we're far from the glory days of the brand.
