Had a small burst of energy yesterday, and decided to complete and idea that I wanted to do since DarkWynter gave me the skeleton and a member here gave me the vampiric helmed skull. I have a ton on synthetic remnants that truly resemble in-scale leathers, furs, and other clothing accents. I wanted to outfit this skeleton with a tattered tabard and cape, which look like dragon skin. Just trimmed a few pieces of each and came up with this:

It all came together, like this(still have to boil and pop his head on..):

Trimmed a piece of the faux low pile fur to go around the shoulders. I might much later when I am better paint the sigil for the Blood of Vol on the chest, as this will fit in with my Eberron pieces.

Baby steps, for now...

I may not get into every genre that people are interested, but it is pretty cool to see how someone does something with a custom.

Nice work!

I do believe that is the best use of soft goods at this scale that I have ever seen. Great job Cap.

Thanks gents.

I learned how to hand and machine sew before I learned how to ride a bike in truth, so if strength wills it, I hope to start fashioning other pieces to outfit my creations.

As I mentioned in another softgoods thread, nearly all of the material remnants I use are 100% synthetic, which means edges can be sealed with flame or heat, and best of all, it means the entire work is still all plastic.
