Here's a few shots of the new Playmobil Space Shuttle.

The rockets boosters have a light feature. I need some batteries...

Cockpit

Rear compartment with satellite/death ray which also features some lights.

Seat for the copilot

Going EVA

It's a neat set that can be connected to the rocket that comes with the launch pad set.
It reminds me of the old Fisher price Adventure people shuttle which had similar features.

That is cool though. Not something I want to convert for Joes, but if I ever want to do a Playmobil Moonraker scene, I know where to go

So do I, but I guess if they made the shuttle larger it would've required a bigger rocket and launch pad set as well.

Knockoff Lego comicbook minifigures from China. They were about a $1 piece shipped, but the catch is that they come completely disassembled, like loose hands and legs. I literally assembled the Avengers. The kid set them up and had them watching the lego movie while she acted out some of the scenes.

I picked up a clearanced Arkham Knight figure and three of the 'Inside Out' movie emotion consoles.

Thought they would look interesting in a dio.

Snagged these little moon crater pieces at Hobbytown USA today -- should be perfect for my OA and other space-based dios (ended up ordering a couple more sets from Amazon after I got home)

Hopefully they take paint well.
