The latest update:

We've just recently been given the opportunity to work with another factory that has put us in a much better place financially to get the the new Adventure People line successfully funded. We're working on the new campaign now and will hopefully have it launched soon. The funding goal will be substantially lower, and the pledge rewards will be structured a lot better. Stay tuned!

Accessory packs.
Yes they cost more, but that was what Captain action was all about.
He needs disguise packs. Use the royalty free heroes like the one they used in their Secret Wars type figures campaign.

I understand that they wanted a low cost start up and build from there if the line proved successful, but starting to low might prevent you from ever taking off.

I would love to see this be more like the Amazing Heroes line. I has hoping to get a bunch of those Evil Henchman to do just that.

Well that was certainly quick. It's back up:

With the intro of the Henchman, I had wanted to get equal teams of three against each other; CA, AJ, and JJ versus CE and a pair of Henchies. I had no real interest in the CA repaints beyond their use as customs fodder if I had to get them. With the new structure, I can get the Full Set to get one of everyone plus an add-on Hench for $120, which is cheaper than the $140 it would've run me previously. Plus I end up with an extra E-rifle, which is nice.

$120 ÷ 8 = $15 each, which is comparable to everything else out there. I'm still not enthusiastic by the 'RemCo Adventure People' stuff, but I:m ultimately an action figure collector and that's what I'm throwing in for.

Just backed this (again) for Captain Action figure only. I'd love a Dr. Evil, but beyond that I'm okay.

Lol, the HACKS have gotten me addicted to All-Inning. If the basic item appeals to me, I seek reasons to go balls-deep.

Money is an issue for me, so I usually just get one item.

i was sort of hoping their restructuring of the line was going to mean adding a little more variety to the figures and not just 5 or 6 of the exact same body with the exact same paint pattern.

I think that these would be the figures I'd get on an impulse buy in a comic store.
They say that they plan for a November 2016 delivery, which seems like a short delay for a brand new figure even if they all share the same body structure.

There was a long-ass wait between BFS' initial work on the line and the start of the KS campaign, in which they likely got a lot of the work done. They're likely ready to make the molds come March 4th.

I'm dubious of all KS promise dates. Even reputable reliable makers get delayed by matters outside their control. If I back, it would be with no expectation of product in hand til mid 2017. Not saying it won't happen sooner. Just saying I'd be prepared for worse.

Yeah, thinking they're set in concrete is just naive.

nothing, really. good on you for calling me out.

I use the BFS/HACKs/MTF kickstarter and production, etc., as the barometer to gauge all this stuff nowadays -
