What about them Air Raiders? The bad guys had that keen x-wing-kinda fighter.

I'm building something experimental currently ...a vehicle ...because i don't want to drop $40 to $100 on an actual Starcom Starmax that isn't missing parts. If it works out i'll be posting so everyone can build it.

Who wants to start throwing up pics of their StarCom vehicles being manned by MBs so I can see if I need to trawl ebay for some stuff? I'm wondering how my Rocket Raccoon would look in some of the vehicles...

Ask, and ye shall receive:

Went digging through one of my old storage trunks just to find the playset, vehicle, and a couple comparison figures, so hope my tetanus shots are up to date. Lol!

For size ranges I've lined up a Starcom dude, two Mega Bloks Halo figures (one customized, the other a regular Copperhead Spartan), a Jaycee and the Wheeled Warriors guy, a Blockbot, and a little rubber robot bad guy from a toy line I can't remember (it was like an advanced version of Lincoln Logs, but with plastic parts that built space vehicles and bases...). As y'all can see, there's only a slight height difference between Starcom and MB figures, and their width is just about the same.

The Mega Bloks gal, with all the armor on, is snug in the cockpit of the tank. With other vehicles that have open-air cockpits, I'm sure there won't be any issues slipping the little fellas in and out of the seating areas. :-D

Awesome. But, MOAR PICS!!!

Please, of course.

Obviously, the Spartans should fit better stripped of their armor, but I fear the bigger size of all the other lines may push them too big.

Y'know, the Megabloks Capt. Reyes from Gamestop just might be the closest we've got to a new Starcom figure, with a little bit o' tweakin' ;)

Cut -Up it's **** like this that keeps me coming back to toy boards even after all of these years. Thank you for those pictures. I've always liked that tank! It was my main motivation for inquirimg about mega bloks fitting inside of starcom vehicles. When COD first came out I had a few Starcom and other mini figures on hand for size comparison but had already parted with my ships and tanks . If we really wanted to keep it classic the Starcom heads are large enough to swap onto the mega bloks bodies .

And fyi....that little dude on the far right is from Legion Of Power . I've always had a soft spot for those little guys. As a young child they were my first introduction to what was possible at a smaller scale . ARAH made me forget about them as a kid but as an adult I thought about them a lot. I even have the comic lol. We need mega scale versions.

Legions of Power!

Was obsessed with those and pretty much anything small scale as a kid (even more than Joes). Capsela made my favorite 1" minifigure, until the new super-poseable Diaclone pilot came out this year.

With nearly everything retro making a comeback, I'm interested in seeing what resurfaces under the Mega Construx banner. Mattel/Mega is very, very smart catering to adults and establishing that brand now...

Yeah, hopefully Toy Fair has some good news for us regarding a big expansion of MB lines. I'm hoping the Kubros characters aren't gonna be Kubros-only. I'd "LASER BLAST" bricks to get an MB Hellboy line.

Yes! I was thinking the same thing!

My rational side always tries to shut up my fanboy side, but really only makes the fanboy worse... why would Mega ONLY get the rights to do a Hellboy Kubro? It doesn't make sense to do something that specific, one & done. Where's the money in that? Now, some Hellboy Mega Construx? That's almost a license to print money.

What are the odds of seeing either blind-bagged (a la LEGO minifigs) or individually carded (Gamestop Reyes) pop culture characters like Hellboy & He-Man at Toy Fair 2017?

We'll see in February.
