So I'll give this a shot again this year.

Although, if I'm completely honest with myself this will be more of a 2-week's of not finishing anything challenge. I'm on vacation this week which should free up time to work on projects but tomorrow night we're heading out on vacation till late Sat early Sun. So I have tonight and tomorrow during the little one's naps to work on stuff. Next week I'm back at work and between work, the firehouse, and trying to make family time I'll probably get squat done. But there's always hope, I'm hoping this thread will encourage me to try to finish something.

Figure: I have a load of figures on my desk but for this I'm going to try to do something new. Making a list of figures that I'd like to make.

Vehicle: I just recently went through my Alpha vehicles and found a couple I'd like to work on.

Shoebox Diorama: I have a shoebox dio that I've had in planning since last year. Hoping to make some sort of progress this year.

The idea is a modular lab setting. I need to get some spray painting done on the box to prime and prepare it but with the cold weather and the rain that looks like a slim chance. I have a whole slew of parts for this.

Threw this together while the little one is napping. Updating Alpine to fit my style/universe. Still going to change the leg holster and magazine pouches for something else. Also working on gathering all the carabiners I've collected.

the rain stopped so I had a chance to get some primer on, which dries super quick, and a base layer paint.

My shoebox diorama.

It's a big Keen boot box with a hinged lid which I love. Plans are to hit it with white spray paint inside and out, use the "granny grate" for flooring, and build the back wall with sliding double doors using foam core. I'd like to build up a back hall so when the door opens you see the hallway.

Other thoughts:

Possible second floor observation window.
Adding LEDs: red at the wall control panel and overhead lights.

Still more to do.

Paint gloves, neck, head, details, etc.

Also need to add carabiners and rope.

Over the course of 7 hours I've been able to get this done.

Still need to add the carabiners. Image

Thanks JM.

The little one is napping so I went to prime my dio only to realize I need different paint. So, when the little warrior wakes up we'll be heading to grab a can of spray paint.

I have today to get this thing primed/painted. Then I'll start building out the walls.

It definitely won't be finished in 2 weeks but it'll be on the way.

Starting a batch or repaints. Nothing spectacular. A couple urban Heat Vipers, another Iron Grenadier, and a Blowtorch not sure what paint scheme to use for him.

Hoping to get one done before heading out for vacation tonight.
