I am not good at getting WIP pics and it will even be worse on such a small simple vehicle.

So I had already cut the wings off of the Sting Raider sub a couple years back but the project I wanted to use them on ended up going a different direction.

I was looking at them the other day and it occurred to me that they would work great for Zanzibar's air skiff. I tried a couple of seats but nothing seemed right. Then I noticed a Tread Fire (which I hate as a tank) and it looked like it might work. So last night I took the treads off and added the wings.

Blood that was what I was originally going to do for my Alpha vehicle but as it got started it quickly grew way too big for the alpha project. So now it is just another WIP to add to the never ending pile of WIPs. LOL

When it gets done it is going to be a re-imagining of the Action Force Shadow Track. I plan on doing several of the AF vehicles before it is all said and done.

Couldn't tell what you were going for at first, but that's a great start for an updated air skiff!

Should be interesting. Trying to work on this and my toy chest entry and get them both done by the end of the month. All with a chaotic mess in my Joe room.

Todays update.

Cut off the extra plastic in back, took the tail off of a small tomcat jet to use for a foil on back. Made a weapon holster to go into the sound attack slot to hold his spear and hammer.

OK so started to add this update last night but must have fallen asleep.

So started painting, got the first coat on. It isnt often that I am lucky enough that I can take a vehicle apart for painting so being able to do so is a little refreshing.

That is looking really nice! Zanzibar's ride will be the envy of all the 'Noks (at least when they are having to travel through the swamps)!

Did you brush paint the body? Looks pretty good, can't wait to see it done.

yeah, I brush paint a lot of things and this one was small enough to be easy to do. plus the color I wanted was a Testors. I am sure that I could have found a spray can for it but easier to just use what I had.
