I can't believe you guys with your spray paint! OB and now this. What brand are you using? I'd written off spray paint as a lost cause on figures, but this looks great!

You really, really need to get some spray paint. Even if it just Krylon or Rustoleum, they are so much help. I've been using them for years. Look for the flats and ultraflats though; anything else may not work as well. Satins and Mattes are okay, but avoid Gloss paints like the plague.

Nice work, btw, SGCaper. You are cranking this stuff out!

I'm convinced. Picked up some today. In the past, it stayed tacky in softer plastics. Willing to give it another shot!

Thanks for the suggestions guts.

Dio is looking good!

Calling it a night.

We're heading north to Canad-i-a when the little warrior wakes up for the late night feeding, around 3:30am.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words all. I have a lot more on my desk and these two weeks are the perfect motivation.

Here is the last pic till at least Sunday night. Made a little more progress. Got the walls in and all the seams are taped. Just need to get the floor to stay flat, may need to attach it to something, so I can put down the floor. Then it'll be adding tech bits and pieces and finally paint.

Where'd you get the Alpine head cast? I like that better than the 25th version.

I either got it from Starwarsgeek or Destro4life/Silverback Enterprises.

We are home from our vacation. While the vacation was great the trip home was terrible; the heat shield under the car decided to come loose, our little monkey warrior began vomiting, we ended up in a hotel, and my mother-in-law drove out to us to drive my wife and little one home while I drive back with a tow truck driver. Now the wife is asleep since we got no sleep last night cause of the sick little one, and the little one is asleep with a temperature.

But that's not the point of this thread.

With both the ladies of the house asleep I'm back at the work desk.

Here are a couple figures I want to finish up.

Blizzard, Blowtorch, wounded soldier made for a commission project.

You're on fire Sean. Late to the party on this thread.

Kicked off amazing with Alpine. The detail paint - so quick - so good.

Really paying attention to the dio. I've started using the lol - "granny grate" myself lately. Really helps set the detail. And I'm watching how you do the back wall. If the doors really slide, I'm going to need to see how you go about it... for reasons.

Great paint on those figures, as always, but I can't even begin to explain how excited I am about that lab dio.

Been wanting to do something like that for years.

Thanks guys.

DrBindy, the doors do slide. Pretty smoothly too, if I do say so myself.

I need to add some sort of pull on the back side to make opening and closing easier but overall pretty happy so far.

Well Blizzard is near complete. I just need to gear him up. Going to try and find an original pack and skis. I'll be updating the weapons.

That is a huge compliment. Especially considering how many of your recipes I've borrowed.

An update, working on my Blowtorch. Calling this the "Black and Tan" version, it was the drink I wanted when trying to decide on a color scheme
