Something brassy to start off with, leading to an encompassing main theme with little snips of personal themes for the crew as they appear of screen with their credits.

Until then...

It's incredibly cool to see the behind the scenes. I'm gonna have to start saving packing materials. Love all the little details and grebels.

oh, and for a while I was saving too many packing materials. And it makes me mad, but I purged a bunch about two weeks before inspiration hit to start in on this, and two of the pieces would have been the perfect corridor I need to keep moving forward

Damn. That's a shame. I'd love to see what could have been.

I just saved a great piece from the landfill. it is a 1og aquarium lighted lid. stripped of the lights and reflectors it makes a very detailed wall piece :)

if you find yourself lacking in packing material, put out an open request for us to ship you what we get .i'm sure you would get a metric $%I* ton :)

Hey Doc, what did you use for the different floor materials? I like the steel plate and the gridded looks, as they lend to the authentic feel of the ship interior. And again, very inspiring, bro!

the diamond plate is styrene from th hobby shop from the model railroad section. It's a little pricey, and I've had those pieces forever just waiting for the right project.

the grate material, or as sgcaper called it, "granny grate", lol, is plastic mesh used for needle point. I bought a huge amount of it for cheap on Amazon. It's not rigid enough to be it's own floor, so you have to support it underneath. But it really adds to the feel.

I'm so jealous. I wish I had the space to do something like this. It looks amazing.

Thanks! You know, space is really the biggest thing that held me up too. And I guess time. But as you can tell from the parts I used, this was all done pretty cheaply, so finding room is the key to getting started.

And Todd - no problem man. Hope to see you putting those to use soon.

and, with apologies for the re-bump, I forgot to add that anyone not knowing what a Joe's Cantina is can check here. It's the chapter of the story where these sets first appeared, but which got buried right quick during Celebration.
