These Funko Pop figures are crack. I bought one of Jabba the Hutt to go with my Jabba collection a few months back, and now I have like twenty of them.

That sucks, The first run of these were good, but why limit the articulation? They couldn't have saved that much money right?

So we had to go to Saint Louis area over the weekend, and my wife made a couple stops and surprised me with some goodies. She picked me up 7 MU Ares, 4 Valkyries, a Beta Ray Bill, a Omega Red, and a decathlon from 5 Below, a 50th Joe Torpedo 3-pack, 2 CC/Shipwreck packs from TRU, and a SW Black series Poetry Dameron and Han Solo for $7 each at WM. These are great fodder for some things I am trying to work on. Now, I just need to locate a couple MU Dr Dooms in each color.

Still no Kickstarter Medusa, but my Kokomo exclusives came in.

Here - have some scale (Wondy is a repainted MU She-Hulk):

Grabbed a Silent Strike set at TRU on clearance (missing the Gary Goggles fig - must've been a fan) and found a Django Fett at Target.

They were having a surprisingly large comic/toy show in Colorado Springs this weekend -- the sales floor rivaled the last JoeCon I attended. LOTS of cosplayers and all. My buddy had a table there, so I snagged some cheap MU fodder. Also met a guy who had some 6" Joe customs on display - he's planning on hitting JoeCon and I told him about our little community (he doesn't have an online presence yet.)

I only got a few last time, but at this 8-O :wow: price, I'd be a fool not to get more.

I realized these would be suitable for the flight deck interior of the Cobra Shuttle that went up against the Defiant in the Marvel #65. Just need a floating unconscious Baroness figure, that Armored Fred figures, and some base figures with extra Scrap-Iron heads.

Plus they could be used in the PIT Ops Room, a Terror Drome control room, CIC on the USS Flagg, Keel-Haul's Bridge chair, Tele-Viper telemarketers, etc.

Wow! I can't ever find anyone selling them for cheap when I search for them! Wish I could find these.

Got my FSS 4.0 third shipment this morning. I had forgotten that these were on the way so it was a nice surprise to see them waiting in my inbox at the office.

Chief, nice score on that Silent Strike set. I got a second one with TRU Rewards a few months ago and put the alt sticker set the jet for a more stealthy look. And the HISS Tank will eventually become an Alley Viper tank, whenever I get around to painting it.

I got a Schleich "Wild Life" Cave Playset today from http://www.walmart.com!

This diorama is a really nice size. It comes in 4 major pieces (2 base halves, main rock and the cave cap) and assembles in minutes. I applied some Krazy Glue at a few points to make the parts fit snug and secure and to minimize the few tiny gaps when assembled (mostly where the cave cap connects to the main rock piece).

The plants are removable (the darker green one is also modular and breaks into 4 smaller plants) and there are several mounting points so you can customize their layout any way you would like.

Image

The set comes with a lioness figurine and an antelope bone accessory. They are both expertly sculpted and painted. Their scale is almost perfect 1/18 scale so they can be used for display with just about any and all 3.75" and 4" action figure lines (I used a 30th Anniversary "G.I.Joe" Zombie-Viper as a model for this photoshoot).

I highly recommend this diorama playset for the current $19.99 price on http://www.walmart.com. it is an EXCELLENT piece at this price.

Yeah, Walmart.com's pricing is really erratic.

Grabbed some fodder at Five Below. Wanted a few Cyc's for my DC customs but they only had 1. They had at least 5 each of Ares, Valkyre, Beta Ray Bill, Omega Red, Deathlok, Rocket Racoon, Drax, and 1 Antman.

Looks like my order from Marauder John and the twenty-four The Voice chairs are waiting for me at the Post Office.
