What I got today...

The fam and I did some shopping which led us to the mall an hour away. So I stopped by my "local" Five Below and grabbed some figures for Liveil and an extra for myself.

Also hit up Harbor Frieght and got 2 more cases for figures. At the mall I found a couple Chameleons on clearance.

All in all a successful day.

Picked these up at a small toy/collectibles store off the beaten path. Prices are not great, but I have plans for customs and it beats getting them off eBay.

Finally got my kickstarter Cursed Medusa, sadly she has a gouge over her heart. Wrote them about it, but decided to keep her anyway since it is the pre-curse Medusa that I am going to use the most for any play/diorama.
Going to take her armor and the extra helmet from the Elite Amazon and make another Amazon from my MU fodder pile. Using the Endor Leia's sandaled feet to keep the look harmonious.

Awesome clearance scores on the way home from work today!

I got 3 more Papo Fire Dragon w/Minotaur sets for $1.98 each at TRU in Totowa and an Eaglemoss "Doctor Who" Silent figurine for $9.98 at Gamestop in Totowa.
The Silent is a non articulated resin figure but it is scaled to the action figure line. I picked it up because I doubt Character Options will ever get around to making the Silents in the 3.75" line.

5 more 12th Doctor in space suit figures.

I will be headswapping the figures to make generic spacers for my diorama as the main draw was the space germs (spiderlike creatures).

Got a couple of items a day earlier than expected:

My wife is starting to dislike Spectre now - because it seems like every time I talk to him, he gives me a heads up on some insane Schleich deals (castles for $10, etc ;-)

)

This time, it was this cave playset for $22 when it had just dropped from $32+ on WM.com. Had it sent to the store so there were no shipping costs - totally worth it.

And General Hawk is another one - his GeneralsJoes post on Facebook about the NJCC Exclusive HACKS Ultimate Spartans sent me off to buy a couple of those guys.

I've been trying to scale down my collection, and then all these "good intentions" folks hold a gun to my head and make be buy stuff....

Anyway - with the new Spartans, the Medusa I got a few days ago, and the Kokomo toys exclusive Amazons, I can do this now:

My awesome wife surprised me today with a great "feel better gift" (I am battling the flu)- another Schleich Big Knights Castle that she found on clearance at TRU for $29.98!

Now I have 4 of them and I will be able to make a massive circular castle with them!

Here is the FINAL configuration of my Schleich Big Knights Castle containing 4 sets.

This thing is ENORMOUS! It measures 64" across (length and width are the same as it is circular) and 21" tall at the top of the highest tower (it is a full 24" tall if you count the flagpole atop the tower).

I cannot get over just how awesome this playset is and really wish I had something of this scale and complexity when I was a kid

The leftover parts- 2 more central stone areas (like under the tallest tower) and 5 unused stone "elbows" will be uses for future customs projects. An additional central stone area and 3 elbows are being used for my in-progress "Skull Mound" diorama.

Snagged the Schleich Waterfall & River playsets (two separate pieces) from Amazon to go along with my newly-acquired cave.

Once again, I blame Spectre ;-)

Look at that waterfall.

Took the last of my b'day gift cards and loaded them into my Amazon account. Jumped on this which made just a $5 out of pocket expense for me. It arrived quick too, and I love everything about it... the coloring, the rigging, and I can't wait to crew it. It's actually wider and longer than the Legendary Heroes ships:

Playmobil Corsair. Decided I will sew corresponding patches to the cannon holes, as if it had just been refitted and made sea worthy. Was under thirty too. Been reading a great Pathfinder Tales series so now I want to people it with the characters.

There's a human captain, a half-orc botswain, a gnome quartermaster, and his navigator and lover is an Albino Naga, which I hope to make from a HACKS gorgon.
