I was debating that. The lower legs are grey, but somehow it just doesnt look right on this does it?

If the boots were taller, like the Retaliation CG, you could get away with it. In this case, there is probably too much visible fabric texture on the low leg. It would look more complete in green.

Some really nice customs here! I dig the Heli-Viper a lot. Zartan looks good, but I (and I may be in the minority) liked that version with the mowhawk (just my preference, not that your figure looks bad without it). The Beachhead looks cool, and I think the stripes are fine from what I can see. Last, on the Viper, I would definitely paint the lower legs green to match the rest of the figure. I know what you were going for with this guy, making it like Hasbro did their figure, but that was lazy/cheap on their part for not painting the figure's pant legs above the boots, which they may not have had to do if they used the correct Viper boots (from V1).
