That's the Safari Medusa. The LEGO horns and antlers I get from a mix of old LEGO Native American and Ninja/Samurai sets, and also from the Brick Warriors line.

I've had an idea for a specific vehicle custom for some years now and had been brainstorming for parts all the while.

I had some items set aside, but have changed direction on one prominent item.

I was at Harbor Freight last Monday and found some wheels with tires marked down from $15 to $6. I needed at least six of them, so I had always looked for another source.

I saw their ad for a fire sale available online, and they had these available for $4 each, which was much more easy to afford.

The only caveat was I could only buy three at a time. My Mom got me three and I got three. They arrived today and now I can start mocking up the vehicle from the ground up.

Well, due to an inventory/pricing issue at TRU, I snagged this baby for $0.03 just now.

Kid at the checkout said that it was actually supposed to be pulled from the shelf, but since I brought it up to the register before they caught it, the policy was to let me get it for the price on the scanner.

Cool turtles. I used to have a water turtle as a pet. When my kids are older and I have more time I would like to do that again.

thanks dusty79! when I was a kid I always caught and kept critters. the water turtles are easy to take care of once you get the filtration right. my wife likes them because they have more personality than my snakes

Just watch the crawfish! I used to have one that I put in with 2 others and some fish. I had a rock they could climb up on and a full setup for them. I kept them well fed, but as they grew bigger they killed the other stuff in the aquarium then turned on each other. The strongest survived and ended up with just 1 crawfish. When you start seeing any sign of trouble, I'd move him to his own aquarium.

this is the first year we caught crawfish. i bet we put 30 1" crawfish in the tank and the goldfish ate them all! i was determined to get some that were big enough to not be instantly food:) i made the simple bottle trap and we got 5 the size of the one in pic. the turtles will end up eating all the fish and probably even the crawfish

i raised two baby snapping turtles and they killed for fun. i would dump 20 minnows in and they wouldn't stop chomping until nothing was moving. the other sliders we had took much longer to decide to eat all their tank mates, but eventually they did. we will only put .29 goldfish and minnows in, so no big loss when it comes.

we decided to put it all together for our 3 yr old grandaughter to enjoy. she really liked catching the crawfish!!

I got my FSS4 wave 5 today. Then sold them to my friend.
He gave me the add-on HACKS I ordered through him.

I have not bought anything Joe related in a good long while. My wallet is thanking me for that. It isn't happy that I'm getting caught up on Masterpiece Transformers though. I received this guy this week. Now I have to track down the yellow version. An eBay seller screwed me out of the one I ordered back in March and now it is sold out everywhere online. Oh well, this guy is fun in the meantime
