A saloon with a couple tables with chairs and a Madame up on a staircase is the playset these guys really need, man.

How can they expect this line to really succeed without a poncho wearing man with no name?

Great things are happening lately in 4", but it's too bad that it is not happening in toy stores.

Fellas, this is something I've been working on with my business partner for the last 7 years. As a fan of great action figures, we want to make sure that these measure up in every way.

The initial lineup is slated for 12 figures (11, plus 1 KS exclusive). We plan to go to KS in the late fall of this year.

Horses are planned, but not in wave 1. The "t-crotch" figures are prototypes we purchased several years ago from the cancelled 2001 Dusty Trails line and are just inspirations for where our line is going.

The Stagecoach is going to be a high end goal for wave 1. There will be gear and acc sets peppered throughout the KS, along with some "blank" figures to put those sets on for designing your own yahoos.

More information is available on the FB website. And there will be new digital sculpt reveals this week after I get home from Colorado. Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

My confidence in these actually being produced (and not just money thrown away) has just dropped significantly.

Why's that? I don't support a lot of kickstarter projects , so I'm not sure what the red flags are.

Combined with the fact that Kickstarter doesn't guarantee or enforce 'companies' to follow through with said 'rewards', makes me more than extremely hesitant to throw money at this.

Oh, okay, I didn't see whose quote that was. Yeah, that'll do it.

OH with the blanks I'm sure there will plenty of DC Vigilante customs!

I'm guessing lots of PTE horses will be disappearing off ebay & Big Lots.

I know there are reservations still among people with Alyosha, but putting any of that aside, this is a joint effort. Any reservations held really isn't necessary. Join the facebook page and read the various posts. It is as much a lot of the other guys involved too. This will end up being a great kickstarter in the end with some really nice figures.

Adrien I could kiss you for showing me this! this is what I have been waiting and waiting for someone to do. I have all the vintage legends of the west figures, I have all the lone ranger and zorro figures, I have all the butch and sundance figures. I have been wanting some nice modern traditional western figures for so long. this is a very old out dated pic of my butch and sundance café with some of my figures.

That said, I'm very cautious about my excitement level. The genre has me excited. the designs have me excited. The company, at least what I know of it so far, not as much.

what do you mean drbindy? is it that you know bad things about them, or is it that you know nothing about them that makes you hesitant? ive never heard of them.

I will be bringing in my abilities with D&J Toys to create a western playset reproduction as part of the kickstarter. This is an old rare cardboard playset, and much like the Cobra Base, I'll be upgrading it to plastic. It will have various features and should be a nice item to display the figures with which are turning out great. The item shown at the show is a cardboard mock up to to show.

J_Man I have that lone ranger cardboard set, I still have it in the cardboard mailing envelope. I have never taken it out or put it together because its so hard to find and sort of delicate. I have for years wanted to scan it and make a sturdier one to display but have never figured out how to do it. I am absolutely 500% interested if you make plastic repros of it. I have been trying to get the legends of the west cardboard town since at least 2000, ive only seen that thing come up on ebay 3 times and I bid like $200 and $300 dollars on it and still got outbid every time.

THATS who got those prototypes, ive spent years trying to find those things. those were some awesome looking figures as well and I missed out on the ebay auction for them.

I'd been talking to John 'Alyosha' Russell for a couple months preceeding this reveal, and one of the topics was his reputation for ... inconsistent delivery of product. He acknowledges it and is taking a back seat on the business side of this venture. My understanding is that he'll be handling the prototype and molding stages while others (probably Paul Mundheim) will take the lead on manufacturing and delivery. John knows that his skills aren't in the business side of this business and is taking a step down in the CFT company. With BFS in an advisory status, I'm willing to go in on this KS.
